Things to do this weekend in and around Louisville – February 22,23,24

Grandmother Power at Ali Center
Family Adventure Day

February is coming to a close.  Shall we start a daily countdown to spring? I can’t wait to hang outside all of the time with the kids.  I know, I know…soon I’ll be complaining about those darn Ohio Valley allergies.  It’s all relative!

If the weather cooperates this weekend, you can pop over to The Parklands and check out the PNC Achievement Center for Education and Interpretation.  This new building opens to the public today and will be staffed with park rangers to provide free learning and fun when you visit the park.  Hit the playground nearby and see what this new facility has to offer, sounds good to me! I am loving watching that park vision come to life.

And, don’t forget, take advantage of the $5 museum row admissions while you still can! Kentucky and Indiana residents get this perk through the end of the month.  Click here for more information about which museums participate and links to those museums.

You know, LIMO rhymes with FROYO. Kinda of?  Well, Sunday, it’s Daddy-Daughter Date Night at Sweet Frog Clarksville.  Daddies and their girls (any age!) are encouraged to come dressed in style. There are prizes and photo opportunities and yes, LIMOS!  It’s all free, except if you get some froyo – Daddy will have to treat his girl to that part.

Have a fabuLOUs weekend with your family, whatever you choose to do!
