Howdy! Thanks for checking in. Yes, we are still here.
Please be sure to check our Louisville Family Fun Experience page for details we are rolling out. It’s starting in March with a super fun experience for families in Downtown Louisville, friendly competition!
Sign up for our (very infrequent) newsletter! We only send stuff out when it’s supah dupah importante.
We are giving away a Louisville Mega Quest birthday party on our Facebook page, ends 2/15 at 9pm.
And last point of business, tune into this week’s podcast with the Louisville Free Public Library regarding 1,000 Books Before Kingergarten
What’s going on this weekend? Oh, there’s that Valentine’s Day holiday to celebrate. We don’t really do much here at the LouFamFun house and honestly, there’s not too many “family” options out there so if you are looking for those, events are more in line with drop your kids off somewhere and have a date night. For info on those, click here.
If you don’t have a date night planned, check out our Pinterest board about Valentine’s Day ideas. Stay home, hang out with the family and spend time together – isn’t that what love is all about? We are going to make the pink rice krispies treats shaped as hearts and watch a Disney “love” movie.
9-11am Winter hike in The Parklands! Enjoy the crisp air and beautiful vistas exploring the Black Willow Trail in Beckley Creek Park paying close attention to feathered friends. This event is FREE to Parklands Members/ $5 for non-members.
In the evening, it’s the Puppet Prom with Squallis Puppeteers. You can dance the night away at this unique event for all ages. Tickets are $10 to $25.
How about a Kids Eat Free deal with entertainment? From 6-8pm at Bistro 42 in Prospect, Steve-O the Magician roams the tables and performs for patrons and they offer a kids eat free deal. Win-win! My kids love their pizza!
Have a fabuLOUs weekend!
