Review of Louisville Coffee Company: Coffee Shop in Jeffersontown (Louisville, KY)

photo photo_zpsab5b95e2.jpgRecently, a new local coffee shop endeavor popped up in Louisville, specifically my little hometown of Jeffersontown. I was psyched! I’ve been there a handful of times now and just absolutely love the place. It’s Louisville Coffee Company, and they have really started with a bang here recently.

I’ve had their white chocolate mocha, regular drip coffee, and most recently a pumpkin spice latte. They serve lattes, cappuccinos, espresso, mochas, tea, hot chocolate, and more. They are also serving light meals and snacks such as sandwiches ($5.95) and pasta from locally owned Lotsa Pasta, baked goods (range from $2.25 to $2.50), bagels, and delicacies from another Louisville local, Please & Thank You in NuLu. Plans are to start their own food line service at the shop. I really hope this place takes off and stays here in Jeffersontown.

photo photo1_zps6d231dac.jpgPrices are pretty typical of what you find at area local coffee places (small specialty drinks approx. $3.25-$3.75). I got a drip coffee refill for $.50 one day when I was in. They also offer free WiFi-they will give you a one-time use password for one hour. It’s a great little place to do some work on your laptop or meet up for a business meeting. They do not have a drive-thru so they really need foot traffic to keep the momentum going! You can park directly on the street or turn immediately as you approach the gray/green building (onto one-way Bruners Street) and there is free public parking located behind the shop.

photo photo2_zpse253b4ba.jpgCurrently they are open from 6:30am-9pm Mon-Fri/7am-9pm Sat/8am-8pm Sun. They are located at 10414 Watterson Trail in the heart of Jeffersontown, right next to City Hall. Stop by the Jeffersontown Farmer’s Market which continues through the beginning of November and grab a cup of joe on your way in or out of the market. They also have a great and quaint little patio to enjoy your coffee and conversation. Visit them soon and please keep shopping local!!
