Friday
 
Join the Bats for Opening Night at Louisville Slugger Field, including $1 Beer Happy Hour, a magnet schedule giveaway, fish fry, and postgame fireworks presented by Humana. 
 

It’s Fish Fry Season and that means it’s time for a fish fry round up. Spend time at St. Thomas More for a fish sandwich. Only a few are offered this Friday so make sure to check before heading out.

Saturday
 
Get ready for an egg-citing event filled with family fun, laughter, and memories! Join in for the annual Egg-Stravaganza on Saturday from 10am – 12pm at the Fields at Gateway Park.


The 30th Annual Frankfort Avenue Easter Parade is coming to The Avenue on Saturday! This free, family-friendly event kicks off at 11:30am in front of St. Mark’s Episcopal Church and will travel down Frankfort Avenue to Pope Street.


Come celebrate Jenison’s 2nd Birthday at Tribe Animal Sanctuary on Saturday starting at 10:30am. There will be 2 sanctuary tours: 11AM and 1PM, to celebrate with Jenison and the other Tribe animals. Tours will begin promptly.


The Flea Off Market is BACK for the 2024 season with great vendors, food trucks, craft beer and cocktails, live music, entertainment, free admission, and more!


Join in for a hopping good time at the 2nd annual Jericho Easter Egg Hunt on Saturday at 12pm! Bring your baskets and get ready to search high and low for hidden treasures.


Sunday

Joe Huber’s is having their Easter Day Buffet and Easter Egg Hunt on Sunday. 11am-7pm with the egg hunt starting at 4:30pm.


 

Spend some time at the Speed Art Museum on Sunday. Thanks to a generous contribution from Brown-Forman, general admission is FREE for all on Sundays through 2024. The free Sunday admission is named in honor of the late Owsley Brown II. 


Extras
 
Check out Little Crooked Creek Safari in Shelby County. They are open 2-6pm on Sunday. Feed and interact with so many animals. An up-close experience for a petting zoo and with exotic animals. 20.00 for adults, 15.00 for kids, 2 and under are free – all your feed for each animal is included. 1430 Little Crooked Creek Rd. Lawrenceburg, Ky. 40342. Cash and cards accepted.

The Main Library and Highlands-Shelby Park Library join South Central Regional with their newly established collection of board games and puzzles now available for checkout! Puzzles can be checked out for 21 days, and renewed 3 times. Board games can be checked out for 7 days (no renewals). These puzzles and games do not float, so please return them to the Library where they were checked out.
