in Crestwood hosts a fall family festival in early October. Each year, they open their farm for this fundraiser for Maryhurst
. We have gone two years in a row. The event is growing! There were so many more people there this year. Luckily, the farm is large and it still wasn’t too crowded. We paid $1 to park and $1 per ticket to enjoy some of the activities (prices change over the years so this may be different). The kids enjoyed the hay castle for free and then we explored the festival to see the activities. They had face painting, tie-dying, pumpkin picking and more but my kids wanted to ride the ponies and take the tractor hay ride through the farm. The lines for these were a little long because they were so popular! But, it was worth the wait because it was so cute to see my kids on the ponies and I always like a nice fall hay ride! If you haven’t been, you should check out this festival next year. Surely, we will have it on our calendar. In the meantime, head on up to Foxhollow Farms and check it out.
They also have a summer concert series
