Santa has been taking some time out of his busy schedule to come to Louisville for all of the area kids to visit with him!

You can see Santa at the area malls. We have them listed on the events calendar above with a link to a coupon for $2 off their photo packages.

If you are looking for some less expensive….uh, FREE….options, here you go:

Macy’s:  This Saturday 12/18 at 2pm, Santa will be at the Macy’s at the Oxmoor Mall. He will be reading The Night Before Christmas and there will be a mailbox for the kids to drop their letters in! Even the Mayor-Elect will be there!

Chick Fil A: Inside the Mall St. Matthews at the Chick Fil A, you and your kids can have breakfast with Satnta from 8:30am to 10am on Saturday 12/18.  They ask that you register for the event. There will be crafts and other fun activities!

Winter Wonderland at Bass Pro Shops in Clarksville, IN: This is a fantastic little day trip. Not only can you get a free picture with a fantastic Santa, but the kids can play all sorts of interactive games and make a craft.  Santa is available from 10am-8pm during the week, noon-5pm on Sunday and 10am-9pm on Saturday.

Gingerbread Village at the Galt House: This is part of the Kalightoscope event but you can visit Gingerbread Village for FREE and Santa will be there this Saturday 12/18 from 11am-3pm

The Summit Shopping Center: On Saturday and Sunday, you can head to the Summit Shopping Center and take a horse drawn carriage ride with Santa for FREE. He will gladly pose for pictures. He’s available right outside of the Toys R Us express from 12-5pm.

You know Santa is really busy, so if you want to see one of his helpers, Santa Cow is at the Springhurst and St. Matthews Chick Fil A’s tonight and next Thursday 12/23 for Family Night from 5-7pm. Kids eat free with a paid adults meal and you can bring your camera for the photo ops.

Hear Stephanie talk about these opportunities to see Santa on WGTK’s Intelligent Talk for Parents with Kristen Riddick this Saturday at 11am (AM 970)
