Louisville Family Fun July 8, 9, 10 Weekend
This weekend is sure to have something for everyone in the family to enjoy from movies to canoeing to smores to ice cream!
FREE Shuttle Launch Party at the planetarium, 11am (party’s on whether or not the shuttle actually launches)
Cow Appreciation Day at participating Chick-Fil-A. Visit on Cow Appreciation Day in your “proper” cow attire and eat for FREE!
Block Party and Movie at Northeast Christian Church for free beginning at 6:30pm. Movie playing is Secretariat.
Food, Games, and Movie at Springdale Community Church beginning at 7pm showing. How to Train Your Dragon. FREE!
Family Canoe Day at Jefferson Memorial Forest. Canoe rental is $10. Recommended for beginning paddlers 5 years old and up.
Campfire, Smores, and more at Blackacre Conservancy .Go for a guided evening hike and end with campfire, smores, and stories. Members free; guests $3/max.$5/family.
Twilight Cinema featuring The Karate Kid at Riverstage in Jeffersonville – FREE
River Days Festival in West Point. Check out the website for events for both Friday and Saturday. In case you need to see more Fireworks they are ending the festival with fireworks on Saturday.
Old-Fashioned Ice Cream Social at Riverside Landing.
