Things to do this weekend in and around Louisville April 13, 14, 15
Spring break for most area school children is coming to a close, make this weekend a memorable one!
Spend some time at Bernheim Forest for special spring break activities. They have nature hikes from 2-3pm and drop in activities from 10am-2pm. It’s a great place to picnic and explore. It’s free!
Kentucky Museum of Art and Craft has a drop in workshop. You can go between 11am and 2pm and make bamboo wind chimes. It’s $6 per person.
Get out with some friends or for a date night. Call My Gym and register your child for their Parent’s Night Out! It’s for kids 16mo to 8years old from 5-9pm and they get to play and have dinner. It’s $25 for 1 child, $35 for 2 and $40 for 3. My children went a couple of weeks ago and it went really well, review to come!
Stage One Family Theatre has a public performance of Lyle the Crocodile on Saturday at the Kentucky Center. There are 2 shows, one at 11am and the other at 2pm. The show is about an hour long and great for kids age 4-8. Tickets are $12.75.
UofL is playing Seton Hall in Baseball and has a game at 3pm (and Sunday at 1pm)! It’s FREE and the concessions are reasonable!
There is a wildflower walk in Clarksville at Lapping Park. It’s about 1 hr long and you will identify at least 25 common wildflowers!
