Spring break for most area school children is coming to a close, make this weekend a memorable one!

Spend some time at Bernheim Forest for special spring break activities.  They have nature hikes from 2-3pm and drop in activities from 10am-2pm.  It’s a great place to picnic and explore.  It’s free!

Kentucky Museum of Art and Craft has a drop in workshop. You can go between 11am and 2pm and make bamboo wind chimes.  It’s $6 per person.

Get out with some friends or for a date night. Call My Gym and register your child for their Parent’s Night Out! It’s for kids 16mo to 8years old from 5-9pm and they get to play and have dinner.  It’s $25 for 1 child, $35 for 2 and $40 for 3.  My children went a couple of weeks ago and it went really well, review to come!

Stage One Family Theatre has a public performance of Lyle the Crocodile on Saturday at the Kentucky Center.  There are 2 shows, one at 11am and the other at 2pm.  The show is about an hour long and great for kids age 4-8.  Tickets are $12.75.

UofL is playing Seton Hall in Baseball and has a game at 3pm (and Sunday at 1pm)!  It’s FREE and the concessions are reasonable!

There is a wildflower walk in Clarksville at Lapping Park.  It’s about 1 hr long and you will identify at least 25 common wildflowers!

Have a wonderful weekend! We’ll be celebrating my son’s 5th birthday, unbelievable 🙂
