Summer is here and we all look forward to great family fun in Kentuckiana as we celebrate our nation on July 4th! People are already “googling” about the fourth of July, so here’s my list!
Here’s what we have found for July fourth that is planned to help you have a star spangled good time!
Here is a list of fun things to do with your family for the 4th of July around Louisville and Southern Indiana!
Saturday June 30th
Fireworks in the Town Center: Norton Commons
Bring out the family to see the fireworks from the Town Center. The fireworks display and music will be held June 30th at dusk! Bring chairs, blankets, goodies and all!
Saturday June 30th & July 1st
Crescent Hill Old-Fashioned Fourth of July in conjuction with the Crescent Hill Art & Music Festival which is June 30-July 1st. They have fireworks on TWO nights and a ton of great fun planned, see the event schedule HERE!
4th of July Fireworks Cruise (dates not online as of 5/28/12)
Usually, the Belle of Louisville and the Spirit of Jefferson celebration the 4th with a funtastic cruise
New Albany Independence Day Concert: Usually a concert followed by Fireworks – New Albany Riverfront Amphitheater – information coming soon!
Independence Day July 4th– Locust Grove FREE TO THE PUBLIC all day, 10am-4pm, featuring the Audobons!
Celebrate our nation’s Independence in the style of the early Republic. Bring a picnic lunch and enjoy the grounds of Locust Grove.
Louisville Bats Be sure to catch the special fireworks nights on July 3rd. These shows will be bigger and better then their Friday night shows!
Celebrating Freedom Parade in Jeffersonville The annual Celebrating Freedom Parade takes place on July 4th at 11am on Spring Street between Riverside Drive and 7th Avenue, with a post-parade celebration in Warder Park. The event is free.
