What is there to do around Louisville that is family-friendly for New Years Eve?
Here’s a list of some options with links but, I have to say, this is not a holiday that is jam-packed for families. Most people prefer to hang at home in pajamas and play games with the kids so a lot of places just don’t plan events. Here’s what I found:
Steve-O the Magician will be doing some tricks of the trade at Lynn’s Paradise Cafe on both 12/31 and 1/1 from 10am-2pm. It’s Lynn’s annual New Year’s Eve/Day Pajama Party.
If you want to go out on the town and need a place for the kids, All About Kids offers a slumber party on the 31st. There’s an overnight option and a late night pick-up option. They also do this at the Oldham County location.
The Kentucky Science Center has a NOON Year’s celebration on the 31st and 1st, details HERE.
The Iroquois Library has a toddler dance party on the 31st at 10:15am; what toddler doesn’t want to dance into 2013????
The Main Library has a New Year’s Eve party at 2pm on the 31st. It includes a craft!
Incredible Dave’s has a “Family” New Year’s Eve party.
The Spirit of Jefferson has a dinner cruise on the 31st! Details HERE
Have fun and be fabuLOUs in 2013!
