The Parklands of Floyds Fork

Louisville’s newest public park now offers science & natural history camps! Discovery-based experiences allow campers to touch, see & learn about the world around them. Activities in the classrooms of the brand new PNC Achievement Center will be balanced with activities outside in Beckley Creek Park & Floyds Fork creek.  

Eco Trekkers Spring Break Camp (April 1-5, 2013)   For students in grades 1-3 or 4-5.
Discover diverse wildlife, hike in our woods, uncover fossils & creek-walk in the stream to gain an understanding of the history of the Fork & its importance to our city.
$185 for members/ $210 for non-members (memberships available at TheParklands.org/members)

All dates are April 1-5 unless otherwise specified.

JCC   April 2-5. Ages 20 months to 5th grade.  Options from 9-6. “Going on a picnic” theme.  Crafts, sports, swimming, and more.

Kentucky Science Center   Pre K-6th grade. Half and full day depending on age.

Stage One Family Theater   K-5. Half day and full day options. Fundamentals of acting and creative movements.

Kentucky Humane Society   Ages 6-12.  $200 per child. Socializing with animals, making treats for their pets, animal responsibilities and training techniques.

Louisville Zoo   Ages 6-12. 9-4. Zoo walks, close encounters with some animals, arts and crafts. $200 for non-members, $185 for members.

Mockingbird Valley Soccer Club   Ages 3-13.  Full and half day options.  Prices start at $25/half day and go up to $250/week for full day.

4 Kicks 4 Kids  Ages 3-6. Monday, Wednesday, Friday from 9-12. $25 per day.  Play games like sharks and minnows and crab soccer as well as learn the foundational skills of soccer.

All About Kids    Half and full day options. Swimming, open gym, and more!  Prices range from $30/half day to $185/week for full day.

Kentucky Museum of Art and Craft – School’s Out/Drop In Art Workshops during Spring Break. During April 1-5 from noon till 3. $6/child or free for members.

YMCA of Greater Louisville   Lots of options all over the city!

YMCA of Southern Indiana   March 25 – 29, Prices starting at $30 for members. Daily games, fun in the Aquatic Center, trip to Gatti Land, ISTEP review and much more.
