Hwang’s Martial Arts

Hwang’s Martial Arts summer camp is an all-inclusive enrichment program where kids have fun as they get in shape, build leadership skills and develop positive attitudes.

Camp provides basic Taekwondo lessons plus bi-weekly field trips to area attractions like the Louisville Zoo, local pools and parks. Students form long-term friendships as they develop important life skills — all in a fun, positive environment.

Tri-It Kids Triathlon – Saturday, July 13th 
The Jeffersonville Parks Department offers an outstanding training program for young triathletes! Participants will receive instruction in swimming, cycling, running, and how to transition between events from a staff of experienced triathletes. After a week of training and preparation, kids will put their triathlon skills to the test in a short distance triathlon. Open to kids 5-14. HLB hosts skill camps stressing fundamentals – shooting, dribbling, passing, creating scoring opportunities with/without the ball, and defense.

Camps offer low Camper to instructor ratio & camp staff with 50+ years of camp coaching experience.

Specialty Camps:
Shooting Camps: 5/31-6/1 & 7/5-6. 9 am – 1 pm

Position Camps: Guard/Perimeter 5/31-6/2; Post/Interior 7/5-7/7
Fri/Sat: 1:30-4 pm; Sun 2-4:30 pm

“BOOT CAMP”: Multi-session Camp over 3 days for those wanting maximum improvement in short period. 2 Sessions: 6/27 – 29 and 8/1 – 8/3

The JCC offers a variety of summer sports camps for kids in kindergarten and up.

All About Kids has day camps during the summer called Camp-A-Bunga.  Kids will be able to enjoy a variety of activities including swimming and gymnastics.


KGA  is offering ‘Big Kid Kare’ where kids learn some soccer, tumbling, gymnastics, karate and also do arts & crafts!  Flexible scheduling. 


U of L They have a wide variety of sports camps.

Bellarmine offers baseball camps for kids in grades K-8 in June.  $125. 


Mockingbird Soccer Club also offers a range of soccer summer camps.  


Kentucky Youth Soccer hosts a camp at the Buckner Soccer complex in June for kids ages 5-14. 9:00-12:00. $115.

4 Kicks for Kidz offers summer camps for younger children to learn and enjoy soccer. June and July. Ages 3-10. $75-$100. 

HOOPS June 24-26. $175. Play with UK pros. Ages 7-16.

Basketball Academy also offers summer camps.  July.  All ages.

Paradise Divers has offered scuba camps. Ages 8-14. 5 day camp to get a junior open water certification.

Metro Parks and Recre­ation  Ages 8 – 16 at locations all over the city.  8 – 6 daily. June 4 – July 27. Rates start at $50/week. Reduced fees available for those who qualify.

Eternal Health Yoga  Ages 5-10. June 17-21. 1:30-4:00.  $175 per child.

Kids Eternal Yoga Camp Ages 3-5. June 24-28. 11:00-12:15. $90 per child.
