Louisville. Visit My Old Kentucky Home State Park,
Main Street in Bardstown, The Bourbon Heritage Center (Read about bourbon tourism for families here), and then finish off the day on My Old Kentucky Dinner Train.
Monday: Visit a couple of museums on Museum Row. There are so many great museums, from the Louisville Slugger Museum to the Kentucky Museum of Art and Craft. There are eight museums to choose from as well as great dining options.

Wednesday: Visit the Falls of the Ohio State Park in
Southern Indiana. Then check out the
Howard Steamboat Museum to learn about the Ohio River’s rich steamboat heritage. After that head over to Schimpff’s Confectionery and Museum for a treat and to see candy related artifacts.
Thursday: Visit Old Louisville. Take one of the many tours offered at the Old Louisville Visitor’s Center! The Conrad-Caldwell House offers tours, check their website for times. And
be sure to visit Louisville’s historic Central Park. Or if historical tours aren’t really your thing, visit Kentucky Kingdom.

Saturday: Before you depart for home, head down to the Louisville Visitor’s Center on South Fourth Street. It’s a great way to learn more about Louisville’s history and landmarks and see what you might have missed!
