Where can your tween or teen (ages 11 and up) take some art lessons or arts and crafts classes around Louisville? Check out this list:

Preston Arts Center
Offering summer classes at different times Monday-Friday for 8-12 year olds and two “Saturday Teens” sessions for ages 13-17. 

Side by Side Studio

At Side by Side studio, there are all types of classes and events for tweens and teens. We especially love the Mother/Daughter Create together sessions they offer monthly!

Good Garbage

Stop into Good Garbage soon for a very unique arts experience. They have a calendar of events, kids drop in sessions, summer camps, and more. Check it out on the website.

Whet Your Palette 

With $10 drop in sessions, camps and lessons, and more, Whet Your Palette in Anchorage is a great place for this age group to create their own art!

Artist in You  

Pay for your own piece of pottery, then paint it in your own style! Fees vary and include painting time, supplies, glazing and firing.

Paintn’ Party

Paint Spot  

Paint Spot is “the original paint your own pottery studio in Louisville.” This craft is very popular with tweens and teens! They have classes, camps, lessons, parties, and work with Scouts groups and Homeschool families as well.

Uptown Art

One of the first paint by instruction places in Louisville, Uptown Art offers a fun atmosphere for tweens and teens to paint a piece they can call their own!
