Thursday, November 10th from 6-9pm is the Holiday Open House in Jeffersonville.

Friday, November 11th is the tree lighting at The Outlet Shoppes of the Bluegrass, 7pm

Starts November 11th “All The Whos In Whoville” by Todd Zeigler will be playing at the Iroquois Amphitheater. Check the website for dates and times!

Friday and Saturday, November 11th and 12th is the Beechmont Women’s Club Annual Luncheon and Bazaar! From 9am-6pm on Friday and 9am-3pm on Saturday. Located at 4516 S. 6th St.

Hosted by the Children’s Hospital Foundation, hundreds of volunteers design and decorate Christmas trees, wreaths and hand crafted holiday items – all of which are for sale to raise funds for Norton Children’s Hospital. Festival Family Night is 11/11.

Saturday, November 12th is the NuLu Holiday Open House.
Celebrate the holidays NuLu style! Extended hours, store and restaurant
specials, an appearance from Santa and more. From 10am-6pm.

Saturday, November 12th visit Michael’s for a Kids Club Event: See calendar here. 10am – noon for a holiday craft. Ages 3 and up. Only $2 per session, includes supplies.

Saturday, November 12th is Fern Creek Baptist Church Holiday Art and Craft Show from 9am-3pm. Located at 5920 Bardstown Rd. Louisville, KY 40291.

Saturday, November 12th is the Celebration of Lights in Shelbyville! 4-8pm

Monday, November 14th -December 24th it’s Santa’s Wonderland at Bass Pro Shops. A bunch of free activities and great opportunities to get photo with Santa.

November 15-17th is the Temptations Holiday Boutique at The Olmsted. No entry fees, open to the public. Located at 3701 Frankfort Rd.

November 17th – December 24th is Christmas at the Galt House. Winter Wonderland, Snow Fairy Princesses, Peppermint Express Kiddie Train, and more.

November 18th – December 31st is the Kentucky Horse Park’s Southern Lights Stroll. 5:30 until 10:00 pm each evening, visitors will be awed by the dazzling display of majestic lights

November 18th – December 31st, Lights Under Louisville
at the Louisville Mega Cavern will be open. Load up the kids and enjoy a
30 minute ride through part of 17 miles of underground passageways,
which features over 850 lit characters with over 2,000,000 points of

Keep tabs on the Louisville Free Public Library events – they have multiple locations where you have the opportunity to make holiday cards for soldiers and other crafts.

November 22nd-December 23rd A Christmas Carol is being presented by Actor’s Theatre.

Wednesday, November 23rd is Light Up Lyndon from 5:00-8:00pm.

November 25th– December 24th is Christmas Tree Lane at Waterfront Park.November 25 & 26, Schimpff’s Christmas Candy Making, 10 am-5 m, free.

Friday, November 25th is Light Up Louisville including a Skating Rink, the Run, Run, Rudolph 5K, Santa’s Workshop, and Santa’s Arrival. Click here for the full calendar of events.

Starting November 25th is Christmas in Charlestown. Largest animated light show in So. Indiana. on the City Square nightly, Winter Wonderland of Lights, Carriage Rides and more. Less than 20 minutes from downtown Louisville.

November 25th – January 29th Jeffersonville’s Skating Rink will be open! Located at the corner of Market and Spring Streets.

Starting November 25th visit Yuletide at Yew Dell on select days. Snow village, model trains, crafts, workshops and Santa.  See more Oldham County holiday events here.

Saturday, November 26th is Home for the Holidays at the Kentucky Center. Louisville Orchestra performs holiday classics
and invites you to sing-along with favorite holiday tunes. Pre-concert
activities at 10am including craft station and Instrument Playground.

Saturday, November 26th is the  Jingle Walk and Holiday Fest in New Albany.


December is a time for Holiday Interim Sessions at Heartland Music Together!

December 2/3, 9/10 is the Historic Tunnel Mill Christmas Candlelight tours rom 5:30-8:30pm, donation of at least $5 encouraged.

December 3rd is Christmastide at Locust Grove from 12-7pm. Interpreters will give you an 1816 holiday experience. Free for children ages 6 and under, see other prices on their website.

Saturday, December 3rd is the Christmas Cookie Stroll in Downtown Jeffersonville. From 11am-4pmpm.

Saturday, December 3rd from 10:00am-7:00pm at Norton Commons, it’s their Open House. Santa will be visiting from 4-7 pm & carriage rides will be offered from 5-7 pm. You must bring a new, unwrapped toy for Toys for Tots in order to get a photo with Santa or a carriage ride.

Saturday, December 3rd is the Nature of Christmas in Goshen
from 12-3pm. Free food, artisans and gift booths, crafts, hayrides,
music, and Santa & Mrs. Claus with gift bags and treats (quantities
limited). Free, donations encouraged.

Saturday, December 3rd is a Holiday Party at Gheens Science Hall & Rauch Planetarium from 1pm-4pm.

Saturday, December 3rd at 1pm, Squallis Puppeteers is having a holiday puppet show “Bigfoot’s Big Holiday.” Workshop to follow.

Saturday, December 3rd is Pancakes with Santa at Sullivan University College of Pharmacy from 9am-noon.  It’s just $5 and Santa will be there along with characters from Frozen.

Saturday, December 3rd is Old Fashioned Family Holiday Festival
at Riverside, the Farnsley-Moremen Landing. Bring the kids out for an
old-fashioned holiday celebration at Riverside from 2pm-6pm! Free
activities include: Photo opportunity with Santa Holiday crafts for kids

Saturday, December 3rd is Light Up Jeffersontown from 6-8pm. Start the holiday season with Santa, Mrs. Claus and the Mayor as they flip the switch to Light Up Jeffersontown! Immediately following, festivities continue outside with live performances by area choral groups, ice carving, free refreshments and free carriage rides. Inside the Community Center enjoy arts and crafts, holiday movies and pictures with Santa and Mrs. Claus!

Saturday, December 3rd is Light Up LaGrange from 4pm-9pm with the Lighting Ceremony to take place at 6pm.

Wednesday, December 7th is a holiday party at Kazoing form 5-8 pm  Admission is one unopened, gift per child that will be donated to foster children. Santa will also be there.

Monday, December 26th from 4-6pm, Chabad of Kentucky will have a Chanukah Live celebration at 4th Street Live.

December 29-30th, St Paul United Methodist Church has a Yule Tide Festival.

Saturday, December 30th at Noon, there is a Kwanzaa events at Shawnee Community Center.
