This is the first weekend of the Louisville Zoo World’s Largest Halloween Party!  Check out details here for trick-or-treating among the animals.

Or, maybe it’s time for a parents’ night out! The Sword & The Stone Tea Parlor is hosting and painting event from 6-8pm. Paint, sip tea, enjoy a scone and conversation with a friend or a date.

StageOne is hosting Spooky Stories from 10am-1pm at the Kentucky Center. Single tickets are $6. Single Tickets: $6. There are three sessions – 10 am (session 1), 11:30 am (session 2), or 1 pm (session 3) and they will present:
“Hey, That’s My Monster” – Amana Noll
“Creepy Carrots” – Aaron Reynolds
“Room on the Broom” – Julia Donaldson
You and your little one sit on the floor around the performers, participate and use LOTS of imagination!

**CANCELED** Head to the LIBA South Points Buy Local Fair at Iroquois Amphitheater from 12-4pm.  This event will include a kids’ area with pumpkin painting, and weaving with Little Loom House. Lots of ticket giveaways, food, local beer and local wine, and music from Midnight Hour Sound System DJs. And, of course, lots of business to learn about.

If it storms as predicted, we suggest the Halloween movie series at the Louisville Palace at 2pm, tickets are $5 at the box office. This weekend, it’s Beetlejuice.
