Week in Preview December 11th-14th

DCPD

Brrrr, enjoy some warm fun this week!

Here are my picks for the week!

Live it: See some Christmas lights coordinated to the beat of Christmas music this year at Toyland Christmas, open nightly.

Bonus: Visit the Iroquois Library on Thursday for the Nutcracker Family Storytime. The event features a Louisville Ballet dancer reading the classic holiday story The Nutcracker, followed by Nutcracker-inspired crafts and activities. Plus, one lucky family will receive four tickets to see the Louisville Ballet’s production of The Brown-Forman Nutcracker. Storytimes are free and start at 6:30 p.m.

Bonus: Visit the Renaissance Fun Park for their Winter Specials including 4 hour unlimited fun pass and $5 game card everyday or All You Can Eat Pizza plus a $5 game card (Thursday only)!

Eat it: Go on a donut tour of the city this week (or make it an adventure for 2018)! Use our Donut List to get started for some sugary sweetness.

Move it: Visit Fourth and Jefferson Downtown for some ice skating at Holiday in the City on Wednesday or Thursday this week from 4:00pm-9:00pm. Check the times as they will change when school lets out for the Holidays. Check Louisville Metro Special Events Facebook page for $2.00 off!

Bonus: Join Altitude Trampoline Park on Thursday during Toddler Time for Crafty Thursday! Bring all your friends and enjoy Toddler Time with them, 10am-1pm!

Learn it: Celebrate the season with the Louisville Orchestra and guest conductor, Kelly Corcoran as they perform seasonal favorites at A Yuletide Celebration on Thursday starting at 11:30am! This is a free event but seating is limited and is on a first come, first served basis.

Attention! We will be running some newsletter-exclusive contests in 2018. Subscribe here.
