Are you ready for free March events? We are! March brings cold rainy days, beautiful spring-like days and everything in between. Make the most of this season-shifting month with some FREE family fun!

Free admission all month at Yew Dell Botanical Gardens in Crestwood.  Explore the grounds, take a hike, relax with a good book or picnic lunch! Tuesday-Friday 10am-4pm

Friday, March 2nd Dr. Seuss Birthday Party Story Time at Brilliant Bumble Bee ages 0-5 10:30am

Friday, March 2nd Season Kick Off Party for Louisville City FC at Baptist Health Performance Training 6-8pm

Saturday, March 3rd Douglass Loop Farmers Market Opening Day 10am-2pm

Saturday, March 3rd ECO Kids Discovery Days: Conifers at Bernheim Forest Volunteer led activities 1-4pm, hike at 2pm. Self-guided 9am-5pm. (Admission free, but there is a $5/carload environmental fee for non-members.)

Saturday, March 3rd Junior Scientists: Stars! Louisville Public Library (Main Branch) Program is for ages 3-8 10-11am

Saturday March 3rd & Sunday, March 4th LM SugarBush Maple Syrup Festival in Salem, Indiana 9am-5pm

Saturday, March 3rd Home Depot Kids Workshop: Periscope Register online 9am-12pm

Thursday, March 8th Lemonade Day Kickoff at KMAC 5:30-7:30pm

Saturday, March 10th Campfire Worship “First is the Worst” at Creasey Mahan Nature Preserve 4-5pm

Saturday, March 10th St. Patrick’s Day Parade on Baxter Ave/Bardstown Rd 3pm

Saturday, March 10th & Sunday March 11th Flea Off Market 11am-6pm on Saturday and 11am-5pm on Sunday

Thursday, March 15th Kentucky Science Center Free Playdate for children ages 0-4 and their caregivers. 5-7pm

Saturday, March 17th ECO Kids Discovery Days: Spring Lookout at Bernheim Forest Volunteer led activities 1-4pm, hike at 2pm. Self-guided 9am-5pm

Saturday, March 17th Family Finger Painting at the Southwest LFPL. Open to all ages. 2-3pm

Tuesday, March 20th Free Cone Day at Dairy Queen. Contact store or watch social media for details.

Saturday, March 24th Lights Off Stars On Night Hike at Jefferson Memorial Forest 8-9:30pm

Saturday, March 24th Lemonade Day University at the Middletown Library. Program is for Elementary School children. 10:30am-1:30pm

Saturday, March 24th Mat Making for the Homeless with Compassionate Creations 11am-1pm

Saturday, March 31st Easter Parade on Frankfort Avenue 11:30am
