Annie May’s Sweet Café is baking up delicious Valentine’s Day treats, including heart shaped doughnuts, lip and mustache cookies and much more! All of the treats are allergy-friendly – free of nuts, soy and gluten. They can accommodate a number of other allergies as well. Stock up early for Valentine’s Day parties and gifts. Join STEAMPunks on 2/8 for a My Intent Valentine’s Maker Workshop! In this workshop 3rd – 12th graders will pick a word that is special to them or a loved one and create a handcrafted keepsake using a hammer, special stamps, and a ring of jewelry. Register online.
Head to Barnes and Noble on February 10th at 11am. Both Louisville locations will have a special Valentine-themed story time for kids featuring Click, Clack, Moo I Love You!
On 2/10 from 10am – 12pm, Michael’s Kids’ Club is offering Valentine Card making. Price ranges from $2 – $5 depending on age. Drop-in or preregister. Also from 1 – 3pm, Michael’s is offering MAKEbreak Valentine’s Gifts for all ages. Buy a glass, mug or tumbler and supplies will be provided for decorating.
On 2/10, Frazier History Museum is hosting Second Saturday: Celebrating Valentine’s Day from 11am – 3pm. Print your own Valentine’s Day card using 19th century printing press equipment. Learn about Valentine’s traditions, enjoy artifact touch stations and performances.
