Free ‘Be My Neighbor’ event at The Parklands

 photo daniel-tiger-fam-photo500px_zpsvlrgyequ.jpgFamilies are invited to join KET at the Woodland Pavilion at Broad Run Park for the free “Be My Neighbor Day,” which builds on values and themes presented in the PBS KIDS series Daniel Tiger’s Neighborhood.

Sunday, Sept. 30 from 1 to 4 pm. 
Registration is required.
KET has informed us that you can register at the event, all are welcome but there will be a registration process when you are there.

Enjoy nature walks, crafts, and meet-and-greets with caring neighbors including Louisville-area first responders and other community helpers, such as librarians, postal workers and more. Daniel Tiger and Katerina Kitty cat will also make special appearances.

Inspired by the themes of Daniel Tiger’s Neighborhood, “Be My Neighbor Day” teaches children the importance of being a caring neighbor.
