Slash– Water at Marshall Playground and Sprayground and Cliffside Playground and Sprayground turns on May 1 at 10am.

Arts in Play-10:00am-11:00aa, Family Health Center. Join Mama To Mama at the Family Health Center East Broadway every Thursday morning at 10 for a variety of arts based activities geared towards kiddos up to 5 years old and their grown ups. Class is held in the 2nd floor Community Room.
Storytime @The Nest, 10:00am-11:00am The Eagles Nest at St. Aloysius School. Fun stories and an activity for all to enjoy!
2019 Republic Bank Pegasus Parade, 5:00pm, Broadway, downtown Louisville. Join Kentucky Derby Festival for the event that started it all, the Republic Bank Pegasus Parade, with the 2019 theme “Pegasus Power”, be sure to wear your favorite superhero costume.

Kids’ Building Workshop, 9:00am-12:00pm, The Home Depot. In this hands-on workshop you and your child can discuss the art of patience as you build a blooming work of art to gift or put on display. All Kids Workshop attendees must be accompanied by a parent or adult at all times. All kids get to keep their craft, receive a FREE certificate of achievement, a Workshop Apron, and a commemorative pin while supplies last.

Free Walking Tour: Olmsted Park History and Design – 9:30am-11:00am, Willow Park. Learn how Frederick Law Olmsted and his firm came to design so many parks in Louisville, and why our Olmsted Parks are so significant. 1.25 miles – mostly on paved walkways, with one descent down the grassy slope of Baringer Hill.

The Flea Off Market– 11am-5pm (both days).
The Flea Off Market is Louisville’s monthly pop-up flea market, with food trucks, craft beer & cocktails, great vendors, live music, entertainment & more.
On May 11-12, we’ll pop-up on S. Shelby St. in the heart of the Nulu Shopping District between Market and Jefferson St. (our original location!).

How-To Festival 2019– 10am – 3pm at the Main Library Downtown. A large, unique variety of interactive learning experiences offered by local experts and small businesses at this 7th annual event.

Bike Together Day, 7:00am-5:00pm, Fourth Street Live! Win a bike from ParkSide Bikes, Free event but must register to win prizes. Fourth Street Live has arranged free donuts, and Heine Brothers will supply free coffee in the morning for those who ride in.
Saturday, May 18
15th Annual Forest Fest – 10:30am-7:00pm Bluegrass and Americana Music Festival at Jefferson Memorial Forest. Admission is free, but there is a $10 parking fee.
Touch a Truck – 10:00am-1:00pm – South Oldham High School. Get up close and personal with some of the coolest trucks, cranes, and recreational vehicles around.

11th Annual Buy Local Fair– 12:00-6:00pm at Louisville Water Tower Park
The Louisville Winds in the Park -Broadway to Beatles and Beyond! – 7:00pm-10:00pm, Iroquois Amphitheater. The Louisville Winds returns under the baton of Ms. Nan Moore, for a Free performance of popular favorites. The Winds at the Amphitheater makes for a wonderful evening of relaxing entertainment.
