Monday November 11, 2019 is Veterans Day, and several Louisville area establishments are offering deals to veterans and active-duty military throughout the day. See our list below and make a plan to take a veteran or active-duty loved one out as a thank you for all they have done or still are doing for us.

Restaurants

Applebee’s – Free meal from a special menu Monday. Dine-in only.

Aspen Creek Grill – Complimentary Entrée from a special menu. Offer good from 11am – close.

Back Yard Burgers – Free Classic Burger Monday.

Beef ‘O’ Brady’s – Veterans get a free meal with the purchase of another meal up to $10.

BJ’s Restaurant & Brewhouse – Current and former members of the military are getting a free entrée worth up to $14.95 in addition to a free Dr. Pepper.

Bob Evans – Free meal from a special menu Monday.

Bonefish Grill – Pick up a free appetizer with the purchase of an appetizer if you’re active duty or a veteran.

Buckhead Mountain Grill – Free meal to Veterans and active military at all Buckhead locations, Jeffersonville, IN; Bellevue, Louisville, KY.

Buffalo Wild Wings – Services members past and present get a free small order of boneless wings and fries when they dine-in on Veterans Day.

California Pizza Kitchen – Veterans and active military can get a free meal from CPK. You’ll also get a card for a buy-one-get-one-free pizza, pasta, or salad during a return visit from November 12-20.

Carrabba’s Italian Grill – Free order of calamari with any purchase to all veterans, active military, police officers and firefighters with a valid ID. The chain also has an ongoing 10% discount for active and retired service members.

Chili’s Grill & Bar – All Veterans and active duty military personnel can get a free meal on Veterans Day at all participating Chili’s Grill and Bar restaurants.

ChipotleBuy-one/get-one free burrito, bowl, salad or order of tacos. Offer valid for all U.S. military (active-duty, Guard/Reserve, and retired military), military spouses with ID, and veterans. For in-restaurant orders only.

Cracker Barrel – Veterans can grab a complimentary slice of Double Chocolate Fudge Coca-Cola Cake or a Pumpkin Pie Latte.

Drake’s Paddock Shops – Veterans and active duty military will receive a complimentary meal. Dine-in only, with proof of service, excludes alcohol.

Dunkin’ Donuts – Veterans and active-duty personnel can start the day with a totally free sugar rush. You’re getting a free donut. No purchase required whatsoever. Through Dunkin’s partnership with A Million Thanks, service members will also get a card of thanks on Veterans Day.

Famous Dave’s  – Military personnel and Veterans are being offered a free meal on November 11th at participating locations only. Proof of military service is required.

Fazoli’s – Free spaghetti with marinara or meat sauce Monday.

Green District Salads – Free salad to every veteran and active duty member who visits for lunch during 11 AM – 3 PM.

Goodwood Brewing – Veterans and active duty eat free. 

Gordon Biersch – get a free entrée with military ID.

IHOP – In observance of Veteran’s Day, November 11th, IHOP offers a “free” breakfast to all members of the military active or retired. *IHOP also offers continual discounts of up to 20% daily on all iHop breakfast and menu items, depending on location, in appreciation for their efforts and their protection of this country.

Jet’s Pizza – Veterans can purchase any menu-prices pizza for 50 percent off with military ID. Deal is valid for pick-up orders only.

Joe’s Crab Shack – 20% discount Monday. Applies to tables of four or less and does not include alcoholic beverages.

Joella’s Hot Chicken – Complimentary meal consisting of two jumbo tenders, a made-from-scratch southern side, a dippin’ sauce and a drink. Veterans and military personnel also receive 10 percent every day at all store locations.

Krispy Kreme – Veterans and active-duty military can receive one free donut and small coffee.

Little Caesars Pizza – Veterans and active duty military with valid ID will receive a free $5 hot-n-ready lunch combo. Valid from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m.

Logan’s Roadhouse – Veterans and active duty military with valid proof of service will receive a free American Roadhouse Meal on Veterans Day.

Main Event –  Free $10 in arcade play and free meal Monday.

Mimi’s Bistro & Bakery – Free meal from special menu for veterans Monday with purchase of a beverage.

Mission BBQ – Free sandwiches and cake from 11 a.m. to 8 p.m. Monday.

MOD Pizza – Show your military ID to get a free MOD-size pizza or salad with the purchase of another pizza or salad.

O’Charley’s – Free meal Monday from special menu.

Olive Garden -Veterans can pick out a free entrée from a special Veterans Day menu.

On The Border – Free combo meal.

Outback Steakhouse – 20% heroes discount for military members, police officers, firefighters and first responders. There’s also a 10% everyday Heroes Discount for servicemen and women, police officers and firefighters.

Red Lobster – Veterans get a free appetizer or dessert when they drop in for a meal.

Red Robin – Veterans and Active Duty Military are being offered a free dine-in Red’s Tavern Double Burger and Bottomless Steak Fries on Veteran’s Day.

Starbucks – Vets, military spouses, and active-duty service members get a free tall cup of brewed coffee at every company-operated and licensed location in the US. Additionally, the company will donate a quarter from every cup of brewed coffee sold across the country to support the mental health and well-being of veterans through Team Red, White and Blue and Team Rubicon.

Tea Station Asian Bistro – Norton Commons restaurant says veterans eat free all day.

Texas Roadhouse – Veterans and active military receive a free lunch on November 11, from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. at all Texas Roadhouse locations.

TGI Fridays – Military guests with a valid military ID will be treated to a free lunch menu item up to $12 on November 11, from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. These guests also will receive a $5 coupon for their next meal at Fridays.

Village Anchor – $5 for Kevins Meatloaf Burger, a side of rosemary salted fries and with a domestic draft beer. 

White CastleActive and retired military can get a free Combo Meal (#1 through #6) or Breakfast Combo. Must present Military ID.

Zaxby’s – Free Southern TLC Fillet Sandwich Monday.


Shopping

Amazon – Active military and veterans can get Amazon Prime for $79 instead of the regular $119 from Nov. 6-11.

Dollar General – Veterans and families receive an 11 % discount on qualifying items in store and online.

Home Depot – Veterans are being offered a 10% military discount on in-store purchases on select items. All veterans are eligible for this discount during the Veterans Day weekend.

Kohl’s – Kohl’s is offering double its military discount for Veterans Day, increasing it from 15% to 30%.

Target – Veterans and active-duty military personnel can receive 10 percent off purchase made in-store or online. Click here to verify eligibility and receive discount coupon. Offer is valid Nov. 3-11.

Revelry Boutique Gallery – 10% off for all Veteran’s.

Walgreens – 20% off for military, Veterans and their families. Walgreens also provides free flu shots for VA-enrolled Veterans.


Other

Goodyear – Free car care checks and free tire installation for all active and retired members of the U.S. military. You can also receive free tire installation with any tire purchase during the promotional period.

Great Clips – Veterans and current military members can visit a U.S. Great Clips salon on November 11 to receive either a free haircut that day or the free haircut card to use at a later date.

Louisville Zoo – 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.: Free general admission for active and retired military and their dependents. Members will receive 10 percent off gift shop purchases and 50 percent off food and drink concessions.

Main Event –  Free $10 in arcade play and free meal Monday.

Sport Clips – Area locations will be offering free haircuts on November 11.

YMCA of Greater Louisville – Veterans and their families can visit any location free of charge Nov. 9-11.
