A drive-thru dinosaur event in Cincinnati will take place August 21-30, 2020. We have seen Jurassic Quest host indoor events and like most businesses, innovating is key for 2020 to keep things going. Hours are: Opening Day 11am-8pm – Other Daily Hours 9am-8pm.
With not as many events going on, sometimes you have to take a road trip. Good thing Cincinnati is not far away and so easy to get to from major highways. And, Coney Island makes for more fun if you want to tie it all together. You could also pop into Jungle Jim’s while you are up there!
Do you have a dinosaur lover in your house? Throughout the pandemic, so many things have been canceled, this might be just what you are looking for! They have an interactive baby dinosaur, probably do cute.
The event has over 70 life-sized dinosaurs that roar and move as you drive by. They will have an impressive 50 foot long Megaladon. If you don’t know all of the information about these dinosaurs, no problem. They have an audio tour that will give you all of the information while you drive by the dinosaurs.
Online, it says the event will last up to an hour. We recommend making a day trip out of this so you make sure you spend more time having fun than driving! Coney Island has a great pool.
This drive-thru dinosaur event will take place at Coney Island Amusement Park, which is not too far from Louisville. You can totally make this doable for a nice outing there and back or tie it into fun things to do around that area or at the park if you like. We feature Coney Island on our day trips post.
When you get tickets, you will get a time slot. You can enter during any time within that time slot. Tickets are $49 per car or $80 for passenger vehicles. If you can pack a bunch of your family into a standard size vehicle, that’s not too bad for a per-person price when you break it down.
Also, tickets are only available online and in advance. Don’t make the drive before you secure your ticket! Click here for ticket information.
Everyone does get one free souvenir photo (per car). If you want to go all out, they do have packages that include toys and crafts. You stay in your car the entire time and they do not issue refunds for inclement weather.
