Winter Illuminations Trail Walk and Light Show
Winter light show in Louisville is coming to the Parklands.
Winter Illuminations is a light and music display along a trail outdoors at the Parklands of Floyds Fork.
A winter light show is coming to Louisville and we have all of the details for you about dates, times, and tickets. Winter Illuminations will be an outdoor event encouraging safe practices for families to make memories together this winter.

What is it all about?
This is an outdoor event along a one mile trail at the Beckley Creek Park area of the Parklands. There are 10 light installations that twinkle together set to music. You walk the path and enjoy the crisp winter air and the wonderful lights.
The light displays will include a Christmas Tree World that will feel like a forest of 10,000 lights, all of the trees are 12 feet tall. The trail is one way so you walk through once and enjoy the winter light show.

When is the event?
The Winter Illuminations show runs November 20 through January 3. There are ample days to go and enjoy the show. The show runs from 5:45 pm – 9:00pm on each of these nights. Note that from November 20- December 17, the even runs Wednesday – Sunday. Then, starting December 18, it will be open seven days a week until closing day.
They encourage you to arrive 15 minutes before the designated time on your ticket. Once on the trail, they estimate it will take about 1 hour to enjoy the light show.
This event is not open on Thanksgiving and Christmas Days. They also indicate that they will remain open for most weather conditions.
How much does it cost?
The fee depends on the day of the week you attend. Also, you must secure tickets in advance online. They will not be selling tickets at the event. All ticket sales are final.
Groups must not exceed 10 people.
Sunday–Thursday: Adults $17.99, Children (ages 3+) $9.99, free admission for children 2 years and under
Friday–Saturday: Adults $19.99, Children (ages 3+) $12.99, free admission for children 2 years and under

Other information
This is a walking trail that goes along paved paths and gravel paths. Can you bring a stroller? It may be more difficult to push the stroller on the gravel paths. Their website says it is and ADA accessible, just make note of the gravel trails when you are considering attending with a family member in a wheelchair.
It is an outdoor event. When you are there, attendees are expected to maintain social distance from people other than their immediate family members. Where a mask when social distancing is not possible and do not gather in groups.
If you are attending the event, enter via Shelbyville Road or S. Beckley Station Road. They will be regulating traffic for the event in a one-way manner.
