I know many families are ready to say goodbye to 2020! Celebrate the a new year, new beginnings, and hope for more positivity in 2021. There certainly is much to be grateful for but there’s also something to be said about flipping the calendar and setting goals for next year.

The 41st Annual Boar’s Head and Yule Festival is on You Tube at 6:30pm on New Year’s Eve this year, so you can watch in your pajamas!
New Year’s Eve with kids can be fun! It is a great time to stay home and hang out with the family. If you want to hang out at home, maybe get cozy with pajamas and games, get some sparkling cider, watch a movie. There are things to do with for New Year’s Eve with kids or if you need childcare for the kids. But, it is not the most popular family fun day with tons of things planned around town.
Overnight for kids:
If you want to go out on the town and need a place for the kids, there are places around town that offer a great service.
For instance, All About Kids offers a slumber party on the 31st from 6:30pm to 9:30am (or a late night, early pick up option).
Family Fun together:
Dave & Busters is offering an exciting and FUN way for you & your family to ring in the New Year being open from 12pm to 11pm to eat, drink, and play games.
Malibu Jacks is open from 9pm to midnight unlimited attractions with sign up times for bowling on New Year’s Eve.
Winter Woods Spectacular at Iroquois Park runs through January 2. Drive through the lights and grab some hot chocolate on the way home.
Bluegrass Karting & Events is open on New Year’s Eve from 11am-6pm for some kart racing or axe throwing family fun!
Fern Valley Strike and Spare has public bowling from 6pm-8pm or 9pm to 1am on New Year’s Eve.
The Kentucky Science Center has regular Friday hours on New Years Eve! Rent the 4 story movie screen to show your favorite movie or play a video game for up to 20 guests for two hours for only $100! (SOLD OUT ON NYE)
Go ice skating together is a fun activity for New Year’s eve with kids. Click here for locations.
Paristown has their outdoor ice skating rink open from 4pm-9pm on New Year’s Eve.
Or, go roller skating at Champs Rollerdome which will be open from 7pm to 12:30am on New Year’s Eve.
