Waterfront Park Seeking Input on Phase IV Expansion Plans for PlayWorks

 

A 1.5-acre outdoor experiential learning area planned for Louisville’s Waterfront Park

 

PlayWorks at Waterfront Park Phase IV is a transformative experience for Louisville’s residents & visitors, brought to you through the collaboration and partnership of Waterfront Park and the Kentucky Science Center.
A 1.5 acre experience that celebrates the waterfront’s history, PlayWorks uses authentic objects and equipment as a catalyst for families and kids to “Make Play Out of Work.” Learn more by visiting their new website. It will be updated as progress is made.

PlayWorks at Waterfront Park is part of plans to begin its fourth phase of expansion. Phase IV of Waterfront Park will focus on the extension of the park to connect downtown and west Louisville on the waterfront. This growth will provide 22.5-acres of park lands and a distinctive historical experience in west Louisville.
