Are you ready for free events  in March? We are! March brings cold rainy days, beautiful spring-like days and everything in between.

Make the most of this season-shifting month with some FREE family fun!

Are you looking forward to spring and lots of outdoor adventures with your kids? We give you FREE EVENTS in MARCH! This time of year always moves fast when the area is focused on getting to Spring Break, Easter, and Derby time and the end of the school year. Stick with us and we will make sure you don’t miss a thing this spring!

If you want some spring break ideas, we have many on our post about spring break close to Louisville – if you are up for something but don’t want to go too far. 


Dayes Soccer Training will be offering free soccer clinics for kids. Check it out and get outside, running around, learning and practice some skills. Three dates/times. Kids 9-12, all ability levels, coed. 

 

Free admission all month at Yew Dell Botanical Gardens in Crestwood though March 26th.  Explore the grounds, take a hike, relax with a good book or picnic lunch! Only open Tuesday – Friday 10am-4pm.

Enjoy the First Friday Hop on March 5 – tour downtown art and shop 40+ unique places! Details here

Farmer’s Markets are starting back up as we get ready for spring. This is definitely one of the best free events in March. There’s one on March 6 at Beulah Presbyterian Church from 10am-2pm, check it out

Free Soccer FUN on March 6th, register in advance for your child’s age group and time. Details here

Go on a waterfall hike at Clifty Falls on March 7 – Meetup at 3pm for a guided hike. Details here.

Head to HoneyBear Farms for a campfire cookout. On Marc 13 from 6-9pm, they’ll have food and tours of the bee yard. Pick up some great honey products while you are there!
