Fun free July events to enjoy with your family.
Congratulations- you’ve officially reached the halfway point in the year! It’s hard to believe! Here are some great free July events so you can have fun without spending a small fortune.
Free drop-in tour Museum of the American Printing House for the Blind at 10:00am and 2:00pm. Tours are back starting July 6.
Blackacre Conservancy hosts “Story Time with Miss Prim” at 10am. Toddlers to age 99 enjoy the stories read by Miss Prim, our 18th century teacher. There is always a little extra surprise, too! This is a free event and open to the public.
Farm Animal Feeding at Blackacre Conservancy at 9:30am.
Cherokee Triangle Summer Concert Series at Willow Park 7 – 9 pm.

Shakespeare in the Park at Central Park. Most shows are at 8pm.
Republic Bank First Friday Hop, 7am – 11:45pm.

“Black Paperback: A Book Fair” will be taking place in Iroquois Park from 10am-3pm.
Cultural Pass – Free Dance Day for kids 6-14 – The Louisville Ballet School will be hosting three free Cultural Pass Days at the St. Matthews Studios!
Louisville Ballet free Dance Workshop at Shelby Park. Select participants will be awarded a 21-22 Ballet Bound Scholarship. Free but must reserve tickets.
Ballet Bound is a Louisville Ballet program that provides young dancers from all across Greater Louisville the opportunity to study classical ballet free of charge in a professional setting.

The Flea Off Market at Shelby & Market in Nulu. Friday- 4:30pm-10:00pm, Saturday- 11:00am-6:00pm, and Sunday- 1:00:am-5:00pm.
Old-Fashioned Ice Cream Social – Riverside, the Farnsley-Moremen Landing – 1:00pm-5:00pm
Summer Concert Series – Wetherby Park, 5:30-7:30pm.
Waterfront Wednesday – Big Four Lawn at Waterfront Park, located next to the Big Four Pedestrian Bridge. Music starts at 6pm, lawn opens at 5pm.

Parkside Bikes will have bike parking on-site.
Ride the Trolley
Trolley De Ville will offer free trolley service located at the parking lot across from the Great Lawn and the Bats Stadium and will operate from 6:00 p.m. to 10:00 p.m.
Family Fun 7th Annual Family Fun Day with Pets – Creasey Mahan Nature Preserve from 11:00am-3:00pm. – CANCELLED for this year.
NuLu Summer Island Hop in NuLu, 12pm – 6pm.
51th Annual World Dainty Championship – George Hauck Way – 5:0pm-9:00pm.
