Winter break is long! Winter break camps help the kids stay active and avoid cabin fever. There are camps for every interest!

 

Kentucky Science Center Winter Break Camp

When school’s out, science is in! Kentucky Science Center’s mission is to help your child learn, even when JCPS is closed. In School’s Out Science Camp, your child will develop skills and make friendships that will last a lifetime. Camp encourages all campers to play, tinker, and investigate the world around them with plenty of time to explore their favorite science center. Check back regularly for new updates as the school year progresses.

Cost: $75/day, $65/day for members

This winter, let your little scientist dive into the world of code and build something that goes beyond their imaginations! At Kentucky Science Center, our campers will learn the language that powers the world as they explore, debug, and create a digital world all their own!

Camp Hours: 8:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m.
Drop-off: 8:00 – 9:00 a.m.
Pick-up: 4:00 – 5:00 p.m.

All About Kids  $60/day with sibling and multi day discounts. Each day includes swimming (ages 6 and up), Open Gym, classes, arts and crafts and more!

Best in Class Education Center – different programs available. 

Derby Dinner Playhouse Derby Dinner Playhouse Christmas Break Theatre Workshop: Dec. 27 OR Dec. 28 for ages 5 to 17; $40; students will take three different classes in acting, singing and dance. Taught by DDP theatre professionals.

Frazier History Museum Grades 1-6, 9-4, $52/day, “Frazier Camps are diverse, creative and an exciting way to have fun learning!” Daily options throughout the break.

Hwang’s Martial Arts – $189 per week + field trip fees. 

Jewish Community Center of Louisville  Kindergarten through 8th grade, various options for different ages.

Winter Camp will run Monday-Thursday each week. Drop off is 8:45-9:00am and pick up is 3:45-4:00pm.

KMAC Museum Sold out for 2021

Louisville Equestrian Center – Winter Camp activities include riding lessons twice each day, horse grooming and safety, arts and crafts with a horsey theme, lots of hands-on horse time–with time for hot chocolate breaks. 

Louisville Gymnastics Ages 4 and up, December 20-23, 12:30-3:30 and December 28-30, 9 am-noon. $179 per child. Children attending our Winter Camps will spend their time getting Gymnastics instruction from our coaches, supervised open practice and games.

Louisville Skating Academy December 27 – December 30, 2021, 10:00 a.m. – 12:30 p.m. Louisville Skating Academy’s Winter Skating Camp is for beginner level ice skaters ages 3 through 13. $135, $10 savings if more than one child. Skate rental is free.

Louisville Zoo Pre-k through 6th grade, various options for different days.

Parklands Kindergarten through 6th grade. $40/day for Parklands Members and $45/day for non-members.

Zaniac Kindergarten through 8th grade. Explore using math and technology. Full and half day options, discounts for full week.
