Valentine’s Day is just around the corner. Here are some sweet events for celebrating this holiday in Louisville with your kids!

Muth’s Candy – Treat your kiddo to a handcrafted confection made by a fourth generation of Louisville candy makers!

Annie May’s Sweet Café is baking up delicious Valentine’s Day treats. All of the treats are allergy-friendly – free of nuts, soy, and gluten. They can accommodate a number of other allergies as well. Stock up early for Valentine’s Day parties and gifts. 

Belmar Baked is offering lots of fun Valentine’s Day treats and classes on how to make decorate your own cookies for the ones you love. 

Brew & Sip Coffee Bar has a special LOVEly menu for all of February with a special Valentine’s Day meal for 2/12. Details here. 

Plehn’s Bakery is another long-standing bakery in the Louisville area is. Stop in for a Valentine’s treat or pick up a dessert for the family. 

Ah, Whatta ‘Bout Mimi

Schimpff’s Confectionery is in Jeffersonville and did you know that they expanded? They have added a huge area. Go pick out some treats for everyone in your family!

Board and You is making up special Valentine’s Day charcuterie boards. Equipped with all the seasons necessities: chocolate covered strawberries, blueberry goat cheese, plus an optional flower bouquet add-on.

Sweet Events & other ideas for the Whole Family 

Send a free Valentine’s Day Card to a patient at Norton Children’s Hospital. You have the option of getting a stuffed animal. Between now and Feb. 10, you can head over to NortonChildrens.com/Valentine to send a free card to a patient.

How about a romantic drive-in movie? Go on a date to the Sauerbeck Family Drive-In in Crestwood. They have movies for the weekend of Valentine’s Day. Click here for the schedule and ticket info. 

Whet Your Palette has drop-in painting. The whole family can get crafty and paint what they like! Monday – Saturday 10am – 10pm and Sunday 12 – 7pm.

Minnie’s Pizza & Paint Shop

Order a Valentine’s Day Paint kit from Minnie’s Pizza & Paint Shop by February 7th. Pick up will be on 2/10, 2/11, and 2/12. Pick up dinner while you are there!
