As things are slowly returning back to normal and the weather is warming up, Memorial Day plans are in the works. We are celebrating with family fun events and grilling out.


KY Flea Market Memorial Day Spectacular – May 26,27, 28,29 at the KY Expo Center – West Wing. Hours: Fri 10-6 / Sat 10-6 / Sun 11-5 / Mon 10-5. Admission is free, parking is $10 per vehicle but you get $6 cashback with any purchase.


Abbey Road on the River – May 25, 26, 27, 28, 29 at Big Four Station Park in Jeffersonville, IN. Starring Micky Dolenz, Back 2 Mac, BritBeat, and 50 sensational bands bringing you the best Beatles and 60’s tributes of the year. Use code FAB10 and save $10 off any ticket.

Racing Louisville is offering Friends & Family pricing on Saturday for great seats. Cheer on our pro soccer team in great weather. The game starts at 8pm against the NC Courage. Get tickets here


Mayor’s Hike, Bike and PaddleThousands of cyclists, paddlers and walkers will be on the move again at the Mayor’s Hike, Bike & Paddle Monday, May 29 as it returns for a 19th consecutive Memorial Day at Waterfront Park. 


ForecastleForecastle Festival will be taking a pause in 2023.


Head up to Borden Indiana for their annual Star Valley Strawberry Festival. Something different for your long weekend and surely delicious. It’s Saturday from 10am-9pm at Borden Community Park. More details here


Most pools in the area will be opening this weekend. Many of the area pools are open to the public with a small entry fee. Some are operating at less capacity so be sure to check with them.  


The Awesome Lazy River – The Lazy River will be opening Memorial Day Weekend! Opening weekend is Saturday, May 27th – Sunday, May 28th. Hours are 10am – 4pm.
