Free November Events

Louisville is filled with family fun in November and many of the events are free. We have selected a wide variety of events for the whole family, even teens!

Grab a cup of hot cocoa, sit down beside the fire and mark your calendar with free November events.

Free admission to Speed Art Museum. Select special exhibitions will require an additional ticket purchase.


Other Free November Events

Dino-vember Scavenger HuntCelebrate “Dino-vember” all month long with a fun dino scavenger hunt at the Southwest Library. Clue sheets are provided and small prizes are available for a job well done! Available all month long.

Night Under the Stars – November 4, 6:00-9:00pm. Join The Louisville Astronomical Society and Louisville Parks and Recreation for a ‘Night Under the Stars’ at the Sun Valley Community Center. This event is free and snacks will be provided! 

Annual Bonfire, Hayrides, Cookout Turtle Run Winery – November 5, 12:00-8:00pm, Music will play from noon – 4:00 with Rockslide.

Holiday in the Woods – Join The Little Loomhouse on Saturday, Nov 5th from 6-9pm. Park at DeSales and ride the shuttle up the hill. This event is free and open to the public. 

Try Hockey for Free – November 5 at Iceland Sports Complex, 3:45-4:45pm. 

Youth Fishing Derby – Waverly Park, November 5. The event is scheduled to run from 10 AM – 2 PM and is free and open to the public. Competitors may register online, or in-person the day of the event. You must be between the ages of 2 – 15 years old to participate. A parent or guardian must accompany the youth participants.

Kentucky Veteran’s Day Parade – November 5 from 11:00am-1:00pm. Parade Units will be on display as you parade by in your vehicle to cheer them on. Southeast Christian Church 

AnimeCon – AnimeCon returns the Main Library on November 12! Join us for a fun-filled day of anime, cosplay, manga, and Asian culture. Register at www.LFPL.org/AnimeCon or call 502-574-1620. Ages 12-19, 10:00am-3:00pm.

First Mate Market – Belle of Louisville, November 19, 11:00am-5:00pm. 30+ small business vendors, Santa & Mrs. Claus, Food Trucks, Pilot House Tours & More!

Free Christmas Lights Displays – There are two lights displays that are really wonderful. We will be updating this post about dates when they begin, stay tuned here
