Christmas tree farms near Louisville
Hickory Hills Tree Farm
Hickory Hills Tree Farm (Formerly Bruce L. Farm) Near Marengo, Ind., about 45 miles from Louisville. IT IS OPEN for 2022. Hours: 9 a.m.-5:00 p.m. Friday-Sunday. White pine and Norway. 502-216-3317

HoneyBear Farms Kentucky – We have not seen info for 2022 indicating they are selling trees this year. Previously: Christmas trees available in November. Not a tree farm but a great place to get your real tree. You can pre-order your tree online. Trees start at $85. They will also have wreaths from $25. They will have hot chocolate, holiday music, photo opportunities with Santa and more.
19816 Huber Road, Starlight, Ind., about 22 miles from downtown Louisville. (812) 923-9813. Daily, beginning Friday, 10 people a.m.-6 p.m. through Dec. 23. Prices listed here. You cut; saws provided. Free wagon rides to the fields. Free cup of hot cider or coffee with tree purchase. Free shaking; wrap, $8.
Jecker’s Tree Farm
Jecker’s Tree Farm 6770 Geswein Rd. Lanesville, IN 47136. Updated info for 2021. They cut them, shake them, bale them and tie them to your car for you. Open daily 9am to sunset. Trees start at $60 for a 7-8 foot tree. We also have Fraser Fir Trees from North Carolina that start at $60 for a 6-7 foot tree. Cash or check only. (812)989-0678
Leota Christmas Tree Farm
1903 S. Finley Firehouse Road, Scottsburg, Ind., about 35 miles from Louisville. (812) 752-7160. Daily, beginning Friday, 9 a.m.-6 p.m.; through Dec. 24. Scotch and white pine, $20-$50. You cut, or let the farm cut; saws provided. Customers not permitted to dig trees. Free shaking and baling. Gift shop. Santa will visit on the weekends sometimes, check before you go. Randy the reindeer, potbellied pigs (Gertrude and Barney), two goats and four geese on the premises. Free hayride to the tree fields. Wreaths, garlands and roping for sale. You can take pictures of your family sitting in a sleigh near Randy the reindeer.
Pine Ridge Farm
3701 Valley Creek Drive, Pendleton, near La Grange, Ky., about 28 miles from Louisville. (502) 386-2336. During Christmas Season, the first two weekends in December, 12 noon until 5 pm. Scotch and white pine, $35 (only 10-foot and taller trees available). You cut; saws provided. Customers not permitted to dig trees. Free tree shaking. Attractions include bonfire and free hot chocolate. Orders taken for custom wreaths and greenery.
Robbins Tree Farm (not open for 2022) in Scottsburg, IN. 3278 West Lake Road, (812) 820-1146.Typically, they have Scotch Pine, Frasier Fir, and White Pine.
Roberts Tree Farm – Seymour Indiana. 812-521-1902. Opening Day After Thanksgiving. Open every Friday/Saturday/Sunday until they sell out. You cut or they will cut it for you. They shake and wrap.

Sleepy Hollow Tree Farm (at Sleepy Hollow Golf Course)
Prospect, Ky., about 17 miles from downtown Louisville. (502) 241-5441.Tuesday-Friday 2-6, Saturday and Sunday, 10am-6pm. Friday, November 25: 10am-6pm.Closed Thanksgiving Day November 24. Cut-Your-Own are $10-$12 per foot. Pre-Cut Fraser firs from North Carolina are $12-$15 per foot depending on size. The taller the tree, the more per foot.
Tower Family Christmas Tree Farm
Columbus, Indiana – Schedule your time slot for 2022. . It’s kind of far but we know the family runs that runs this tree farm so we have to highlight it! Check out their blog here.
