Whet Your Palette summer camps – themed art camps in Louisville for kids ages 4-12
This year marks Whet Your Palette’s 10th year of Summer Camp! To celebrate, we’re rolling out 10 exciting new themes and 5 new Artists of Focus. Our summer campers have the option to choose their themes when booking, then they’ll be making fun crafts and projects while learning about one of our Artists of Focus and their techniques. We offer three-time sessions per day (M-F), with two themes to choose from during each time session. Parents can send their kids to one, two, or all three-time sessions.
Along with our various kids summer camps, this year we’re offering adult summer camps! For select weeks this summer, we’ll be offering adult summer camps in the evenings and walking campers through various projects.

This year’s Artists of Focus are Michelangelo, Albrecht Dürer, Bridget Riley, Faith Ringgold, and Sam Gilliam.

Found Objects: We’re creating art with random found objects; big and small
Into the Fairy World: Fly into the magical world of fairies
In a Galaxy Far Far Away: Star Wars-themed everything!
Messy, Messy, Messy!: Our most popular camp theme is back– let’s get MESSY!
The Ocean Deep: We’re diving in to explore the creatures of the deep blue
The Stars of Outer Space: Blast off to the stars with all space-themed projects
Robots & Monsters: We’re building and creating movable robots and friendly monsters of all kinds
Video Games Galore: We’re bringing the world of some of the most popular video games to summer camp!
Summer Camp runs from May 29-August 8
Time sessions are 9:00-11:30am, 12:00-2:30pm, and 3:00-5:30pm
Price per week (by age group) – age 4-6: $116/week, age 7-9: $111/week, age 10-12 $106/week
Pay by day option (all ages): $29/day
Early drop off at 8:00am: $25/week or $5/day
