Are you looking for Easter egg hunts in Louisville? There are so many places to get outside and have fun with your family this year for Easter. There are also plenty of places to visit the Easter Bunny in Louisville.

Nothing says spring like getting out to search for those eggs. There are so many events that you can find one close to you or one that’s new to you with no problem. Most of these events are free so that’s even better. Easter egg hunts are very popular in Louisville so if you want, you can attend multiple.

Below, you can also find a spot to visit the Easter bunny! In the event that the weather looks questionable for any given day, check the locations Facebook page or give them a call to see if an event is still on before heading out.

Jefferson Mall – Easter bunny arrives March 15th. Reservations are recommended. 

Mall St. Matthews – Starting March 1st-March 30th, times vary by day, reservations encouraged. 

Outlet Shoppes of the Bluegrass – Saturdays & Sundays, March 16-17, March 23-24, & March 30.

Oxmoor Mall – March 15 – March 30th, times vary by day, reservations recommended.

March 9

Easter Eggstravagnaza with FEAT & Down Syndrome of Louisville – 10:00am-12:00pm.

Glow in the Dark Easter Egg Hunt – This event is for all elementary aged kids (and their younger siblings) to come to a special glow-in-the-dark egg hunt! Wear your pajamas and come ready to BOUNCE in the jump house, HUNT eggs, LISTEN to stories and get your picture with the Easter Bunny! LaGrange Presbyterian Church

March 14

Grab your basket and join New Albany Parks & Rec for a hopping good time at their Wiggles and Giggles Easter Egg Hunt. The fun doesn’t end with finding eggs – stick around for themed crafts, delicious treats, and endless playtime. It’s an Easter extravaganza you won’t want to miss! 10am-12pm

March 15 & 16

Come out to the Sauerbeck Drive-In for Easter Egg Hunting and pictures with the Easter Bunny! Followed by Kung Fu Panda 4 and Argylle. Tickets are required for admission and include both movies if you wish! Guests are welcome to leave during intermission between movies. Gates open at 6:00pm with Easter Egg Hunting taking place between 6:30-8:00pm. Kung Fu Panda 4 starts at 8:15pm.

March 16-April 7

SAFARI EGGVENTURE  –

EGGsplore your Zoo again this spring with a EGGcelent scavenger hunt game that allows you to dive deep into the Zoo while searching for hidden zoo-themed eggs, answering trivia questions and competing in some EGGstra special challenges. Experience the fun March 16-April 7. You can play for fun or compete to win EGGciting prizes like a Zoo membership, Wild Lights tickets, plush animals and more! Safari EGGventure is FREE with Zoo admission or membership.

March 17

Eggstravaganza – Northeast Christian Church, 9:00am-12:00pm. FREE family-friendly event for a morning of fun featuring an interactive egg hunt throughout our campus, a visit with the Easter bunny, crafts, face painting, games, activities & food!

Pictures with a Live Bunny – Join Fresco Tea Bar in Jeffersonville, IN for FREE family pictures with a LIVE bunny, FREE peep for children ages 12 and under (with drink purchase). 12:00-2:00pm

Easter egg hunts

March 23

Easter Eggstravaganza at St. Paul United Methodist Church from 10am-12pm for children (5th grade and under) and their families. Enjoy the egg hunt, crafts, games, and a visit from the Easter Bunny!  

The Great Egg Hunt at the River City Campus of Saint Matthew’s United Methodist Church. There will be age-divided egg hunt areas, a petting zoo, face painting and free lunch! 4611 Lowe Road, 11:00am-1:00pm.

New Albany Easter Egg Hunt – Silver Street Park, fun starts at 9:00-11:00am. When you’re not hunting for eggs, please enjoy our games, crafts, music and make sure to grab a photo with the Easter Bunny! This event is FREE, so don’t miss out!

This year’s Northeast Family YMCA Easter Eggstravaganza Spring Fling will be from 11am-2pm. Kids ages 12 and under will travel to activity stations with their basket (bring your own), complete the activity, and receive an Easter egg! They’ll also have: music, food trucks, raffle tickets, face painting, and more! Register online and pay $5 (plus tax) per person. $10 (plus tax) at the door. The event will be at Calypso Cove Family Waterpark’s Parking Lot at 9400 Mill Brook Road.

Easter Bunny Express – Climb aboard the Easter Bunny Express as it departs the French Lick Depot on a trip to the Easter Egg field. Guests 11 & under will have an opportunity to search for eggs and pose for pictures with the Easter Bunny himself.

Easter Egg Hunt – Come out to Maples Park for the fourth annual egg hunt sponsored by Crestwood United Methodist Church! Two EGG HUNT times are offered. Bring your basket! (This is a free public event!) The hunt is for toddlers through 5th graders.

 

March 27
Trinity Chapel Easter Egg Hunt – The whole community is invited to this fun-filled evening of searching for colorful eggs, creating Easter crafts, and enjoying Spring-time treats. Don’t miss out on the egg-citement; bring your baskets and hop on over! 6:30pm

March 30

Republic Bank Easter Egg Hunt – Vissing Park in Jeffersonville. Join them for food trucks, inflatables, fun, and – of course – eggs! Things kick off at 2PM with the Southeast Christian Family Fun Zone. Egg hunts begin at 4PM. DON’T FORGET YOUR BASKET! The Easter Bunny will be there too! *Registration is open for children ages 1-10. 

Bunny Bash Easter Dash at Greenway Park in Charlestown, IN. Bring your own basket/bag for a fun-filled Easter Egg hunt for ages 12-under in three age divisions. A Special Needs Hunt kicks off the event at 10 a.m. The three age division Egg Hunts takes place starting at 11 a.m. followed by the older divisions. The Park will open at 9:30 a.m.
 

Easter Egg Hunt & Celebration with Beargrass Christian Church starting at 11:00 AM, Brown Park, Louisville, KY, St. Matthew’s Area. All are welcome! Join us at Brown Park for an exciting Easter egg hunt! Children of all ages, up to fifth grade, are welcome to participate in the search for colorful eggs filled with treats and surprises. It’s the perfect opportunity for families to come together and enjoy a fun-filled day of hunting and laughter. Don’t miss out on the excitement! The hunt is STILL ON even if it rains in our gym.

 
Easter Eggspress Train Ride at the Kentucky Railway Museum for a 12:00pm or 2:00pm train ride. (lasting for about 90-minutes) *Tickets needed
 

More March 30
 
Frankfort Avenue Easter Parade runs from Stilz Ave. to Pope Street, 11:30am – 1:30pm. Floats, flags and lots of candy! Be sure to bring a bag to collect candy. 
 
EggStravaganza at Crescent Hill Baptist Church – Bring the kids for some free family fun before the Frankfort Avenue Easter Parade!  Enjoy egg dying, crafts, cookie decorating, face painting a bounce house and other activities and games. 9:30-11:30am
 
Egg-stravganza – Clarksville’s Gateway Park, 10:00am-12:00pm. Egg hunt, bounce houses, and train rides
 
 
Jericho Easter Egg Hunt – Join them Saturday, March 30th at Noon, promptly, for their 2nd Annual Easter Egg Hunt!
 
Community Easter Egg Hunt – Children of all ages, up to fifth grade, are welcome to participate in the search for colorful eggs filled with treats and surprises. It’s the perfect opportunity for families to come together and enjoy a fun-filled day of hunting and laughter. Brown Park, starting at 11am.
 
Starlight Distillery Third Annual 21 and Over Easter Egg Hunt –  Participants will hunt across the Farm to find one of the 100+ eggs hidden on property. Each egg has a voucher for you to buy an exclusive bottle not available on the retail floor.  You have to be 21 or older, and you have to register.
