Martin Luther King Jr. Day Events:
Keepers of the Dream – A Celebration of Dr. Martin Luther King’s Vision. January 19 at 5pm with activities starting at in the lobby at 4pm. Free event with free parking at the Kentucky Center. Performances and art, and much more.
MLK Jr. Day Free Family Swim Event – Goldfish Swim School St. Matthews. 10am-12pm. 90 degree pool sounds amazing. Bring your own towels. If your child is not potty-trained, they are required to wear a reusable swim diaper. RSVP here.
On Martin Luther King Jr. Day (Jan. 20), Muhammad Ali Center be open with free admission from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. as part of their first Community Free Day of the Year! Stop by and visit!
Join on Sunday, January 19th for the MLK Weekend Invite at 10:00am. This event invites youth and high school runners to compete in the state of the art Norton Healthcare Sports & Learning Center. The fun zone will be open during this event.
Join Archbishop Shelton J. Fabre and the Archdiocesan Gospel Choir who will celebrate Rev. Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. through Scripture, reflective readings, and songs of praise. This will be held at 10 a.m. at the Cathedral of the Assumption (433 South Fifth Street, Louisville) on Monday.

The 52nd annual MLK Jr. Motorcade and Peace Walk will begin at 10:30 a.m. on Monday, Jan. 15, and will make its way through the community to Chickasaw Park. The group will travel down Broadway to begin MLK services at the church.
Join Side by Side Studio Monday as they honor Martin Luther King Jr Crafting for Kindness! Design & Craft, to give, to keep, or to contribute. This is a family friendly all ages welcome event! This is also a FREE event and pre registration is not required. Time: 2:00-4:00 (drop in anytime).
