Fantastic Family Getaways from Louisville
Today’s Feature: Greenwood
Demand for rentals is so high. We booked our vacation already and chose Lake Michigan because we know renting our own place will be a safe bet for this summer. We went to South Haven two years ago and loved every bit of it. I saved about 25 places back in December and then two weeks later only 7 were left for the week I wanted. Act fast! We selected Union Pier this year, slightly closer to Louisville and near towns we have not yet explored. Cannot wait!!
One of the best things about a vacation like this is that, if you are like us, you do not spend a ton of extra money beyond the rental. We bring groceries and eat simple meals, bring lunch to the beach, order out maybe two nights and get ice cream and bakery treats. We might do one activity that requires a fee. But, in the Lake Michigan area, the entertainment is the parks, beaches, and quaint towns.
