E.P. “Tom” Sawyer Park Adventure Camp – Looking to learn more about the great outdoors at day camp? Do you have an adventurous child who loves to explore the world around them? We’ve got the camp for you! Our week long day camps get kids involved in a variety of outdoor activities such as hiking, archery, orienteering, geocaching, birding, and more!
““Camp Curious” at St. Francis School (as of 5/6/20 they are exploring virtual options, check back): Preschool half-day camps run June 1st – June 26th. Themes include Creekside Adventures, Space Explorers, Step Inside a Story, and Splashing Around Campus. Kindergarten – 8th grade camps run June 1st – July 30th. Specialty camps include Camp Invention®, Bricks 4 Kidz®, musical theater, service learning, art, STEM, academic offerings provided through our partnership with the Langsford Learning Acceleration Centers, and more! Kids Quest (undetermined for June but added camps in August hoping that will work out!): Join us for Kid’s Quest 2020 at Holy Spirit School. Enjoy a Catholic environment where students will enjoy STEM, Music, Sports, Games, Community Service, Field Trips, Gardening, and an array of other activities. Our program is open to anyone entering PreK – 7th grade.
Summer Under the Trees is an outdoor camp for the adventurous child, ages 2 years through 5th grade, held on the Virginia Chance School Campus. Gather with friends and experienced teachers as we explore our beautiful 26-acre campus in a summer of outdoor games, art, music and fun!
Thrive Forest Camp and Nature Camp at Creasey Mahan: Thrive Forest Camp offers a true nature-immersion experience for children 3-to-6 years of age! Woodland art, critter hikes, forest music, log crossing, puddle splashing, structure building, and friend-making fun! Our motto is “Your child will come home dirty or your money back!” Weekly sessions throughout June, with parent in attendance. CLICK HERE to register while spots last! Lion’s Youth Camp for Blind and Visually Impaired Youth– for children 5-15 years old. This free camp is in Lebanon Junction KY, June 29th-July 3rd, 2020. Enjoy a week of activities: Canoeing, BB’s, Archery, Swimming, Fishing, and more. This year’s theme is Wild West; there will be horseshoes, hayrides, and hoedowns!.
