Start your weekend family fun off by doing good! Join our Facebook Group that’s all about giving back to our local teachers. Act fast, we funded a campaign last week by 9am!
April 20-22

Head downtown for the Thunder Over Louisville airshow practice. We know that Thunder is a huge event and that not everyone wants to be in the crowds. So, Friday from around 11am to 5pm, some of the aircraft will be practicing. Head to waterfront park and find a spot to relax and see some of the planes.

Are you a YMCA member? In the evening, head up to the Oldham County YMCA, it’ll be something special with the Louisville Astronomical Society – Stargazing night. They will have telescopes to use and find different constellations. It’s free for all YMCA of Greater Louisville members.

It’s Thunder Over Louisville. Not many events try to compete with this one so we will just leave it at that!

Locust Grove hosts 18th Century Thunder – taking it back to the American Revolution. It’s $6 for adults and there’s free admission for kids ages 12 and under. Discover life back in 1778 with period actors and activities. Historic home tours included. (Also on Saturday)

P.S. – Check out our events calendar for more ideas!
