Things to do this weekend around Louisville October 12,13,14
This weekend is happening. Seriously. You have about 456,432,190 things to choose from to do with your family. I am going to make it easy for you and narrow it down to 4. If you want to browse the other 456,432,186 things to do, browse our calendar above – we have them listed.
Friday – The Caufield’s Halloween Parade– This is on Baxter Ave and a unique experience. It’s what you would think – lots of candy and spooky/scary costumes. I’ve taken little ones and they are not scared, use your discretion. Mine have some understanding that the “crazy guys” are not real and those really scary costumed folks are pretty good about not getting in the faces of the little ones. It starts at 7pm. Here’s a review.
Saturday – Southwest Community Festival. It’s big and has all that a festival should have – food, games, music, free fun! 9-5pm
Saturday – La Grange Railroad Festival – Small town fun and big trains going through. That sounds like fun! Here’s the flyer so you can see what this event has to offer. It’s from 10-4pm on Main Street in LaGrange.
Sunday – How about civil war re-enactments, folks playing dulcimers and food trucks? That’s at the Farmington Harvest Festival. Click here for more details, it’s 10-6pm on Sunday.
