Festival of Trees and Lights is this weekend 

Friday:  Today is the Louisville Veterans Day Parade. Honor those who have served our country by attending this wonderful parade.  The details about the route are on their website. The parade starts at 11am.

Saturday:  Get a free tree and plant it with your family!  Head to the parking lot at Jefferson Community & Technical College, West Broadway (Enter lot from 2nd street).

All trees native to KY.
First come first served while supplies last and it’s a limit of
3 trees per residence. You must be Jefferson County resident with proof of residency.

Or, make driftwood art at the Falls of the Ohio.  They will have materials and this is a way to make something so unique.  The Family Nature Club event is at 2pm for an hour. Then, follow it up with a hike!
