JCPS and Louisville Area School Calendars

DCPD

Are you looking for next year’s JCPS calendar? Are you looking for the Oldham, Shelby, or Bullitt County Schools calendars? Greater Clark or New Albany Floyd in Southern Indiana?

We have the Louisville area school calendars available for you.

Louisville area school calendars. Most of our readers have students in Jefferson County Public Schools, JCPS. The full school calendars are typically approved in the February school board meeting. This is also typical of Oldham County Schools. But, some basic information is available in advance for most schools in terms of major school breaks.

Other districts have future calendars available earlier. We know parents want to plan ahead for spring break, summer break, fall break, and three-day weekends. We hope these school calendars for this year and next year are helpful for planning your family fun.

We kick off in late August and wrap it up in late May or early June, with breaks for Thanksgiving, Christmas, and a much-needed spring break. They usually aim for around 175-180 days of learning. Oh, and let’s not forget those days when the teachers get to brush up on their skills. It’s a juggle, but we make it work!
