Winter break is long! Winter break camps help the kids stay active and avoid cabin fever. There are camps for every interest!
Kentucky Science Center Winter Break Camp
When school’s out, science is in! Kentucky Science Center’s mission is to help your child learn, even when JCPS is closed. In School’s Out Science Camp, your child will develop skills and make friendships that will last a lifetime. Camp encourages all campers to play, tinker, and investigate the world around them with plenty of time to explore their favorite science center. This winter, let your little scientist dive into the world of code and build something that goes beyond their imaginations! At Kentucky Science Center, our campers will learn the language that powers the world as they explore, debug, and create a digital world all their own!

Camp Valor – no updated for 2024 –10 Winter Break Camps January 2nd through the 5th! Camp sessions are available in the morning and afternoon for campers ages 6 – 12. Camp tuition covers all materials as well as a Camp Valor T-shirt. Lunch packages are available for campers staying for a morning and afternoon camp.

KMAC Museum – January 2-4, 2025, Camp hours: 9am – 4pm, Drop-off 8:30-9am, Pick-up 4-4:30pm. Cost: $60 for non members and 55 for members per day. Three camps for ages 7 – 11. Sign up for an individual camp in Drawing & Painting, Sculpture, or S.T.E.A.M, or take advantage of our camp discount by signing up for all three!
Louisville Equestrian Center – Winter Camp activities include riding lessons twice each day, horse grooming and safety, arts and crafts with a horsey theme, lots of hands-on horse time–with time for hot chocolate breaks.
Louisville Gymnastics no update for 2024 – Ages 4 and up, December 26-29, 9:00-12:00 and December 26-29, 1:30 pm-4:30 pm. $215 per child. Children attending our Winter Camps will spend their time getting Gymnastics instruction from our coaches, supervised open practice and games.
Louisville Parks & Recreation – Ages 5-12, 8am – 6pm, Drop off 8-9am, Pick up 4:30-6pm, $60 Pre-registration fee, $60 Weekly fee, One field trips each week

Louisville Skating Academy No information is available for 2024. December 27 – December 30, 2021, 10:00 a.m. – 12:30 p.m. Louisville Skating Academy’s Winter Skating Camp is for beginner level ice skaters ages 3 through 13. $135, $10 savings if more than one child. Skate rental is free.
