Free November Events
The leaves and the temperatures are falling, but the family fun continues with free November events.
Louisville is filled with family fun in November and many of the events are free. We have selected a wide variety of events for the whole family, even teens!
Grab a cup of hot cocoa, sit down beside the fire and mark your calendar with free November events.

Free admission to Speed Art Museum. Select special exhibitions will require an additional ticket purchase.
Other Free November Events
Holiday in the Woods – November 1, Join The Little Loomhouse for an evening of art, shopping, and merriment at their Open House Event from 6pm – 9pm. Parking for the Little Loomhouse Holiday in the Woods will be at DeSales High School, 425 W. Kenwood Drive with a shuttle up Kenwood Hill.
Dia de los Muertos: Day of the Dead – November 1, Silver Street Park, New Albany, 11am-2pm. You’re not going to want to miss out on this Día de los Muertos event! From a live DJ, various interactive crafts and dance performances, this event has it all for a day of family fun!
Family S.T.E.A.M Day – November 1, South Central Regional Library (7300 Jefferson Boulevard) from 11 a.m. – 3 p.m. This FREE family-friendly event offers amazing presentations and hands-on activities to get kids excited about Science, Technology, Engineering, Art, and Math.
Once Upon an Orchestra – November 1, 10:30am, Southwest Library – And Tango Make Three. Families are invited to join LO ensembles for these fun, interactive musical storytelling performances.
Kentucky Veteran’s Day Parade – November 8 from 11:00am-3:00pm. Parade Units will be on display as you parade by in your vehicle to cheer them on. The parade route is E. Market Street from Campbell to Hancock.
Once Upon an Orchestra – November 12, 2:00pm, Fairdale Library – The Very Hungry Caterpillar. Families are invited to join LO ensembles for these fun, interactive musical storytelling performances.
Dog Man Hero Party – November 15, 2-4:30pm, Dog Man is back and ready to party! Celebrate the release of Dog Man: Big Jim Believes with games, crafts, and of course, Dog Man! St. Matthew’s Library, Superhero costumes encouraged!
Once Upon an Orchestra – November 18, 6:30pm, South Central Library – If You Give a Mouse a Cookie. Families are invited to join LO ensembles for these fun, interactive musical storytelling performances.
Light Up Jeff – November 22, 4pm. Join Jeffersonville for a holly jolly evening as we officially kick off the holiday season!
Free Christmas Lights Displays – There are two lights displays that are really wonderful. We will be updating this post about dates when they begin, stay tuned here.
