What fun things are there to do for Mother’s Day in Louisville?

Belle of Louisville: Set your sights on a relaxing Sightseeing Cruise! Whether you join them aboard the charming Mary M. Miller or the historic Belle of Louisville, a cruise up the Ohio River is the perfect opportunity to sit back, relax, and take in the sights along the Ohio River with Mom. They have several options for this weekend.

Festival of Flowers: Take Mom shopping on May 9th for flowers, crafts, and more. This year they will be returning to the Beechmont Gazebo at the corner of Southern Pkwy and Woodlawn. 9am-3pm

Frazier History Museum: Take Mom to check out the many exhibits going on right now including 120 Cool Kentucky Counties!

Joe Huber’s Family Farm and Restaurant: Mother’s Day Buffet ($28.99 ages 12+, $13.99 kids 4-11). 11:00am – 7:00pm. Reservations strongly recommended by calling 812-923-5255. 

The Louisville Zoo: Celebrate Mom by treating her to Mother’s Day at the Zoo! Free Zoo admission for moms on this special day! Enjoy a fun day outdoors as you spend family time with the animal families at the Zoo. 

Louisville Bats 2026 Mothers Day Brunch – Celebrate Mothers Day at Louisville Slugger Field on May 10th! Cheer on the Bats as they take on the Nashville Sounds and treat the mothers in your life to a private brunch during the game! Tickets are $43 and will include seats to the game, access to the Humana Cabana, and a 2 hour catered brunch. 

Mother’s Day Brunch at Huber’s Orchard & Winery – Sunday, Seating Times available for 10AM, 11AM, and 12PM. Groups of 6+ will have a reserved table, less than 6 in your group is open seating.

Mother’s Day Brunch at The B.A. Colonial – No reservations needed — just come hungry. Enjoy their brunch buffet for $25 per person, kids 10 & under eat for $10. 10am-2pm

Mother’s Day Market: Visit the Sunflower Market at Lambrecht Farm in Bedford IN for an early Mother’s Day on May 9th. Antique, boutique, handmade and vintage vendors, petting zoo, live music and food trucks. 10am-4pm

Mom’s Night Out at Racing Louisville – Get tickets as Racing Louisville FC welcomes the star-studded Portland Thorns to Lynn Family Stadium! Kickoff is set for 6:30 p.m. Friday, May 8, on Mom’s Night Out at Lynn Family Stadium — our start to Mother’s Day weekend.

Shakespeare in the Parks Tour: Presenting The Tempest at 1:00pm at Broad Run Park and 6:30pm at Robison Park. This is a FREE family-friendly event and super fun for Mother’s day in Louisville!
