Memorial Day Weekend Family Fun Events.
As things are slowly returning back to normal and the weather is warming up, Memorial Day plans are in the works. We are celebrating with family fun events and grilling out.
KY Flea Market Memorial Day Spectacular – May 23, 24, 25, 26 at the KY Expo Center – West Wing. Hours: Fri 10-6 / Sat 10-6 / Sun 11-5 / Mon 10-5. Admission is free, parking is $10 per vehicle but you get half off parking with any purchase.
Abbey Road on the River – May 22, 23, 24, 25, 26 at Big Four Station Park in Jeffersonville, IN. A multi-day, outdoor music festival celebrating the music and legend of the Beatles and classic rock!
Fleur De Flea Outdoor Vintage Market is happening on Saturday down by the river at Waterfront Park. They will have over 200 vendors, food trucks, pop up bars, and more! May 24th, 10am-5pm.
The 21st Annual Hike, Bike, & Paddle will take place at Waterfront Park on the Turffmut Great Lawn on Memorial Day, May 26th from 8am-12pm
Head up to Borden Indiana for their annual Star Valley Strawberry Festival. Something different for your long weekend and surely delicious. It’s Saturday from 11:25am-7pm at Borden Community Park. More details here.
Most pools in the area will be opening this weekend. Many of the area pools are open to the public with a small entry fee. Some are operating at less capacity so be sure to check with them.
The Awesome Lazy River – The Lazy River will be opening Memorial Day Weekend! Opening weekend is Saturday, May 24th. Open Saturdays and Sundays, 10am-4pm.
