Some camps have not yet updated their websites to reflect 2020 information. If nothing is written next to the camp it means (as of 5/8/2020 they have not posted any updates anywhere or answered our messages regarding this summer)
“Camp Curious” at St. Francis School (as of 5/6/20 they are exploring virtual options, check back): A crash course in theater for 2nd – 4th graders, our Lower School Musical Theater Camp (June 8th – 12th) gives your child a chance to shine as s/he learns the ins and outs of preparing for a production. This year we will go on a musical journey of friendship and adventure in The Bear Went Over the Mountain. The Middle School Musical Theater Camp (July 6th – 10th and June 13th – 17th) for 5th – 8th graders is an intense two-week program that encompasses everything necessary to produce Disney’s High School Musical, Jr. Campers have the option to perform or work on the crew (rising 9th graders are eligible). Both camps culminate in a performance for family and friends. CMPI Broadway Bound ONLINE 2020 Students will participate in an actual Virtual Showcase that will be taped and made available live stream for parents. Students will be instructed in private and small/large groups in the areas of voice, drama, dance, and musical theater!!! In addition to training from top teachers in each discipline students will be sent a camp kit which will contain needed materials and fun activities so we can bring camp to you RIGHT IN YOUR OWN HOME!! Gear up for a week of fun, learning, growth and lots of self-discovery and laughter. DERBY DINNER PLAYHOUSE – All July camps are virtual! SUMMER MUSICAL THEATRE CAMP: A one-week performing arts camp for students ages 7-17 exploring drama, music, and dance. TUITION: $175; TIME: 9am-3pm; DATES (5 options): June 8-12 CANCELED; July 6-11; July 13-18; July 20-25; July 27-Aug 1.
DRAMA BY GEORGE (Offered online for 2020): Put your young actor in the spotlight with our virtual summer theatre camps! Students ages 8-12 can star in a radio drama in “Center Stage Camp: Make a Radio Drama.” Teens ages 13-16 can create a satirical newscast in the style of Trevor Noah and Stephen Colbert at “Comedy Camp: The Not-So-Daily Show,” will ages 11-14 will create and perform their own short plays in “Star in Your Own Story”!
