Free events in January! The holidays may be over, but the family fun continues. January boasts some fun opportunities and the best news is these events are all FREE!

Here are some events for you and your family!
Every Sunday (Until March 2021)- Speed Museum admission is Free from 12pm-5pm.
Every Friday- Tiny Art Tales at KMAC from 10:30-11:15am.
Various Days in January – Family Archaeology Lab at Farnsley-Moremen Landing. Drop in 10am- 4pm (tour weather permitting at 11:30).
The Model Train Show at Southwest Library, various dates through January 6. It’s a wonderful display open to the public to enjoy during the library’s business hours. You can find details by clicking here.
Saturday, January 5- Squallis Puppeteers 1st Saturday Show from 10am -2pm. This is a unique puppet show based on “The Take of the Tricky Fox.” It’s fun for kids ages 3-8. Everyone can enjoy a puppet show and even choose to make one! Details here.
Saturday, January 5 from 1-3pm learn and have fun at the American Printing House for the Blind for their special Saturday program “Mary Ingalls: The Frontier Years.” Call/email to register.
Saturday, January 5 – Vision Board for Kids at the Louisville Free Public Library (Shively location) from 1:30-2:30pm.
Saturday, January 12 – Make pet tags at the Carnegie Center in New Albany. This family workshop is from 10am-noon, call/email to reserve a spot.
Sunday, January 20- Keepers of the Dream- A Community Arts Celebration of Dr. King at the Brown Theatre from 5:00-7:00pm.
