June 13
The City of Jeffersontown’s Summerfest – Join them for a celebration, a night of music, food, fun and a fireworks show to end the night. 6pm-10pm, Veteran’s Memorial Park @ 10707 Taylorsville Rd. Featuring live performance by Conch Republic, Kids Zone, and local food trucks.

July 4 – 6
4th of July Weekend at French Lick Resort – Their special celebration of Americana has it all, including poolside fun, music and outdoor activities. It all starts with a bang at our grand fireworks display the evening of the 4th.

Salute to Freedom – Featuring the River Cities Concert Band, 6:30-8:30pm. Kevin Hammersmith Memorial Park
KFC Stage, 4400 Lewis Endres Parkway, New Albany, IN 47150. Music, concessions, and more! Free.
 
July 3 
Thunder Over Radcliff This is Radcliff’s annual 4th of  July celebration. Bring your lawn chairs and chill out around your vehicle to watch the show. Food will be on-site to enjoy while waiting for the show. 8:00-10:00pm
 
Play America – Join them for a FREE Independence Day weekend community concert under the baton of Music Director Teddy Abrams. Back for its third year, this musical extravaganza promises an energetic kickoff to the holiday weekend with its live music, food, and fun family activities. Beginning at 6:00 PM, the “Family
Field” opens to guests and features a full array of food trucks, picnic tables, shaded tents, and activities including bounce houses, balloon creations, face painting, crafts, and more.

 

July 4 

Crescent Hill July 4th Celebration – Plan to attend the 40th Crescent Hill July 4th Celebration. By The People – For The People Celebrating our Country’s Independence – Neighborhood Style! Friday, July 4. Free and open to the public.

Celebrate 4th of July with free ice cream from Dairy Del. Free cone to kids ages 12 and under when they recite the Pledge of Allegiance. (this has not been confirmed for 2025 as of yet)

Locust Grove Independence Day – Celebrate Independence Day with a meaningful, engaging day focused on civic engagement and citizenship. Explore what it means to be an active citizen and how to make a difference in your community through exciting activities and interactive discussions. Free, 10:00am-4:30pm. 

Paristown Fourth of July – General admission includes access to Christy’s Garden, Brent Street, GA bars, food hall eateries, and outdoor vendor market. One personal lawn chair per person is permitted in designated areas only. Children ages 10 & under free with each ticketed adult. Limit one child per ticketed adult.

Fort Knox Freedom Fest – Red, White, and BOOM! Fort Knox invites you and your family to Freedom Fest, a powerful Independence Day celbration starting at 6 p.m. at historic Brooks Field. This free, open-to-the-public event features live music by The Bottle Tress Band, a Kids Zone with inflatables and games, food and drinks for purchase, and exciting attractions.

Come for brunch and PLAY at Logan Street Market. The fun kicks off at 9am with bounce house and water games outside all day then live music from 12-2pm. It’s low key easy summer fun at the market-meet up with friends, neighbors and family for holiday bruchy favs.

4th of July Community Celebration and fireworks extravaganza in Prospect, Cowley Park: 7902 Westover Drive. Event at 6pm, fireworks at dark. Band, activities for kids, Kona Ice, food trucks, and fireworks. 


July 6
Fanfare for the 4th – 3pm, Annual Multimedia Choral Cinema Presentation of America. Enjoy this American historical retrospective and revel in the power of stirring patriotic songs & visuals! Multimedia Specialist Ruth Newman. St. Matthew Baptist Church, 3515 Grandview Avenue. A great alternative to fireworks in Louisville.
