Are you looking for Easter egg hunts in Louisville? There are so many places to get outside and have fun with your family this year for Easter. There are also plenty of places to visit the Easter Bunny in Louisville.

Nothing says spring like getting out to search for those eggs. There are so many events that you can find one close to you or one that’s new to you with no problem. Most of these events are free so that’s even better. Easter egg hunts are very popular in Louisville so if you want, you can attend multiple.

Below, you can also find a spot to visit the Easter bunny! In the event that the weather looks questionable for any given day, check the locations Facebook page or give them a call to see if an event is still on before heading out.

March 12

Wiggles & Giggles Easter Egg Hunt – The Egg Hunt will begin at 11am. The fun doesn’t end with finding eggs – stick around for themed crafts, delicious treats, and endless playtime. 

March 14-April 12

SAFARI EGGVENTURE EGGsplore your Zoo again this spring with a EGGcelent scavenger hunt game that allows you to dive deep into the Zoo while searching for hidden zoo-themed eggs, answering trivia questions and competing in some EGGstra special challenges. Experience the fun March 14-April 12. You can play for fun or compete to win EGGciting prizes like a Zoo membership, plush animals and more! Safari EGGventure is FREE with Zoo admission or membership.

March 21

Zaxbys of Southern Indiana’s 2nd annual Easter Egg Hunt – 2–4 PM for an afternoon of family fun at Zaxbys New Albany! (2870 Technology Ave New Albany, IN 47150). Face painting, Bouncy house, & an Egg hunt for all ages starts at 3 PM!

Meet the Easter Bunny9:00 AM – 11:00 AM, Southwest Government Center, 7219 Dixie Highway. Bring the kids, snap your own pictures with the Easter Bunny, and enjoy free activities for everyone.

Easter Egg Hunt in the Pool12:30-2:00 p.m. at Goldfish Swim School.  This event is FREE and all are welcome for a family swim, egg Hunt in the pool, and a craft. Families should bring their own towels for this event.

March 22

Spring Soiree – Hop on into the SPRING Soirée at the Middletown Peddlers Mall from 12pm-5pm for food trucks, photos with the Easter Bunny, and more!

Easter Eggstravagnaza with FEAT & Down Syndrome of Louisville – 11:00am-1:00pm.

New Albany Easter Egg Hunt – Join them for an egg-citing Easter Egg Hunt! Bring your basket and see how many eggs you can collect, then cash them in for a goody bag full of treats! Enjoy music, games, crafts and a photo opportunity with the Easter Bunny! 9-11am

Eggstravaganza Family Fun Fest – East End Farmer’s Market, 10am-2pm, 13060 Factory Lane. Local Foods, Artisan Crafts, Live Music, Kids Activities & Games, & More

Pancakes with the Easter Bunny – Join them for a pancake breakfast and photos with the Easter Bunny! The Jeffersonian, 10617 Taylorsville Rd, $9 per person, children 2 and under free! Pay at door, cash or card; taxes and fees included. 9am-12pm

Easter on the Square – Jeffersontown City Hall, visit with the Easter Bunny from 12:30-1:30pm.

Easter Egg Hunt – Come out to Maples Park for the sixth annual egg hunt sponsored by Crestwood United Methodist Church! Two EGG HUNT times are offered. Bring your basket! (This is a free public event!) The hunt is for toddlers through 5th graders. 12pm & 1:30pm

Easter Eggspress Train Ride at the Kentucky Railway Museum for a 2:00pm train ride. (lasting for about 90-minutes) *Tickets needed

Greenville Bunny Trail Geocaching EventThe Easter Bunny has hidden eggs all throughout Greenville Park! Use a provided GPS device or your mobile phone to track down each egg’s location. Once you’ve found them all, return to the Shelter House to receive a special Easter treat. Free but requires registration. 12-3pm

Easter Fest – 2-5 p.m. at Kevin Hammersmith Memorial Park, This free community event will include Egg hunts for children, Petting zoo, Photos with the Easter Bunny and more!

March 31

3rd Annual Easter Trunk Hop Event – 6pm-8pm at Texas Roadhouse Shively. Bring your baskets to hop trunk to trunk and collect treats from local businesses, nonprofits, and volunteers!

Kid’s Easter Party – Join Mark’s Feed Store Dixie Hwy for a Kids Easter Party! They will have crafts, candy, and a visit from the Easter Bunny! 5–8pm, plus…Kids Eat FREE!*

April 4

Easter Egg Hunt – Robison Park, 10am, fun for everyone. The egg hunt will be sectioned off by age group. There will also be a separate allergy-friendly section. Free hot dogs and lemonade until supplies last.

Bunny Breakfast Bash – Hop on over to the City of Charlestown at the Arts & Enrichment Center, 999 Water Street, for breakfast with the Easter Bunny and Chick and for vendors passing out eggs to children, so bring your basket! There are two time options to participate – 8 AM or 9:30 AM. Each session lasts 75 minutes. Doors open at 7:45 PM for the first session.

Easter Egg Hunt – Grounds of the Peterson-Dumesnil House starting at 9:30am with a story and the hunt to start at 10am.

Frankfort Avenue Easter Parade – The 31st Annual Frankfort Avenue Easter Parade is coming to The Avenue on Saturday, April 4th! This free, family-friendly event kicks off at 11:30am in front of St. Mark’s Episcopal Church and will travel down Frankfort Avenue to Pope Street. The day will be full of color, candy, and character, with homemade floats, dance groups, antique cars, trucks, the Easter Bunny, and more! 

An Old-Fashioned Easter Market – Step into a charming springtime market filled with local flavor, handmade treasures, and family-friendly fun! Celebrate the season with fresh foods, unique crafts, gifts, live music, kids activities, and more — all in a relaxed, old-fashioned market atmosphere. 13060 Factory Lane, 9am-2pm

Easter Egg HuntClarksville Parks & Recreation is excited to host their annual Easter Egg Hunt at Gateway Park (500 Little League Blvd) — and you’re invited! Bring the whole family out for a morning full of fun, laughter, and LOTS of eggs. Egg hunt starts at 10am.

Tyler Park Easter Egg Hunt – The Tyler Park Easter Bunny cordially invites you to their annual Eggstravaganza! Join us at 12:00 PM for the beloved Tyler Park Easter Egg Hunt, a neighborhood tradition filled with fun, surprises, and plenty of eggs to discover.

Easter Egg Hunt – FEAT of Louisville will be at the Sensory-Friendly Easter Egg Hunt + Soccer Clinic hosted by LouCity & Racing Foundation. This inclusive event is designed to create a welcoming, low-sensory environment where kids can enjoy the fun of an egg hunt and soccer, at their own pace. 10am-2pm

Xscape Theatres Blankenbaker 16 – Meet the Easter Bunny, take a photo, and grab a Yoshi egg with a prize inside while celebrating the opening of The Super Mario Galaxy Movie.

Easter Bunny Express – Climb aboard the Easter Bunny Express as it departs the French Lick Depot on a trip to the Easter Egg field. Guests 11 & under will have an opportunity to search for eggs and pose for pictures with the Easter Bunny himself. 2026 details coming soon.

Jeff Parks Annual Easter Egg Hunt – Vissing Park in Jeffersonville. Join them for food trucks, inflatables, fun, and – of course – eggs! Activities kick off at 2pm and the egg hunts begin at 4pm. DON’T FORGET YOUR BASKET! The Easter Bunny will be there too!
